Was quoted $200 for a dishwasher install. All parts were provided by me. It was delivered by Home Depot but they didn't provide installation. My problem is not with the installation at all. The worker was very polite and did an excellent job, installing the dishwasher in less than 45 minutes installation. Once he arrived, I was giving a bill for $415, double what I was quoted. I voiced my dismay at the difference and he called his boss who suddenly was able to change the cost to $315. So, I would be paying him at a rate of over $400 per hour for ONLY LABOR. Seems a bit exorbitant, don't you think? Now here's where the really ridiculous part happens. My check bounced due to a deposit not clearing in time. Minor error. It happens. Most businesses will wait a day or two and resubmit it. They called me and claimed they tried to submit it three times. I check with the bank and it is immediately apparent that they are lying and have only attempted once. I asked them to submit it again because I get paid tomorrow. I never refused to pay though they acted as if that was what I was doing ?. Instead they lied about the original quote, then told me they were going to send police to my house. ? Seriously?? What is this? The 17th century? Would I be going to debtor's prison? I don't think they know how the law works. So, they will be paid as I promised.... and then I am going to make certain that everyone in 100 mile radius knows about their shady tactics. This is not a good company at all. I feel sorry for the plumber because he was quite nice, but their management is the most unprofessional company I've dealt with in decades. PLATINUM HOME SERVICES? More like tin foil.

We have a rental property with Central AC that hasn't been turned on in several years because it was giving us problems, and we never had it fixed. We had it looked at by another HVAC company several years back and they told us we needed to replace the whole system which wasn't in the budget at the time, so we never fixed it. Recently we decided it was time to have it looked at again. I found this company Platinum Home Services on Angie's list. They immediately called me back (literally within minutes of making the request) and gave me a general time window of when a technician would be able to come which was the SAME DAY. The technician showed up right on time and called when they were 15 minutes away so we could meet them there as discussed on the phone since its a rental. The tech was very professional and tested the entire system with all their gauges and found no real major issues other than a couple minor things. He got the system up and running and told us he could install a new system if we wanted, but that he didn't feel it was necessary and that the old one was working fine. He also provided us with a quote to replace it if we did end up deciding to go that route. Again we had the quote in our email within an hour of him coming to the house. FAST. Not only was this company up front and honest about not having to replace the system, but they didn't charge us a dime for the service that they provided evaluating the existing system. My wife and I couldn't be happier with their service. Quick response, on time, honest, and professional. Highly recommend them and will be sharing our experience with them to all our friends and family that have HVAC needs. We will also be using them for all of our own HVAC needs in the future both at the rental property and our own personal residence.

The team was prompt and professional. There was an issue with a subcontractor that was rectified (at the company's expense) before we knew there was a problem. The owner was on site many days. The work was done very quickly and at a very high quality.
