Stealth was wonderful. They finished on time, were always clear about problems and solutions, and took the time to explain when we were confused. We had no surprises with money or work, which was exactly what we wanted.

It was a small house on a larger lot in Somerville that had expansion potential.   Rob walked me through the entire house over a period of one and a half hours.  He was very enthusiastic and creative with his ideas about what could be done.  He also knew the few things that would be very expensive or couldn't be done.  On top of that, Rob did it all for free.  I will definitely be getting a quote from him for my next big job.

Stealth met with us extensively to advise & discuss the the design of our future bathroom and provided detailed guidance on the materials we selected.  Work started on schedule, and was complete in 10 working days .. a few days ahead of schedule! My wife and I were delighted with the results, and would recommend Stealth to anyone.

This year we decided to remodel our bathroom and interviewed several contractors. Stealth weren't the absolute cheapest, but they were competitive, and came highly recommended by friends who'd hired them for a recent bathroom remodel.

Right from the start Rob was a great guy to work with and was not only knowledgeable and professional, but also patient and considerate. It's rare to find contractors with all these qualities and throughout the entire project he was a pleasure to work with. There were a few situations with the subcontractors that arose that required some rework, and Rob was completely helpful and understanding. Other that these small issues, the work was top-notch. Fittings and finishes are excellent and the work was done, on-budget, on-time. I'm still in awe of the bathroom's transformation and we're fortunate to have worked with Stealth.

They do very good work and every time they have done work for us, they have done a very good job. They do work for the condo association. I don't know how competitive the price was but the work was Grade A work. They are one of the best popular contractors when we need work done. We would highly recommend them.

My experience was good. Their bids were reasonable and the guy who gave them was nice. The crew wasn’t quite as attentive, but overall they did a fine job.

They were very professional. They were slightly pricey but I didn't have any worries with the project. There was an unexpected need and they handled it well. They came up with a creative fix for the steps so they were not out of code. They are professional, flexible and accommodating. They are pricey to start but they don't add.

The bathroom came out great. The workers were on time and cleaned up very well after they were done. The projcy took much longer than expected, but not because of anything they did. Outside companies were not getting orders right.

I have been quite satisfied with them. The project started several months ago and they are still working on it. The deciding factor in hiring them was their responsiveness through the bid process. Things have been going extremely well so far and the project is almost complete.

In April the roof was full of snow and the drains were full of leaves. Then it rained and rained and rained. Nine inches of flashing was not enough and the water poured down the chimney and surrounding wall for three stories. When I first noticed it, the wall was crying, by the end of the debacle, the paint was pulling off in sheets exposing previous patch jobs for prior chimney leaks and swelling the horsehair plaster that still remained. After some back and forthing with my landlords about fixing it, being asked to wait, etc, I finally had enough and explained that I was going to find a reputable company, get an estimate, submit it for their approval and then deduct it from my rent. With the help of Angie's List, I was able to make contact, get a quote, get recommendations and get some action! Stealth Construction sent Rob who came and took a look at both sides of the wall, gave me an estimate and explained how quickly he could start and how he planned on working it between his other jobs so as to maximize the use of my time, his resources and the drying time of the ingredients. He figured the first day would be prepping the surface, the second would be priming it and the third would be painting it which would fit in nicely with the demands of my schedule as well. The job began on schedule and the wall was back to being solid after day 1. At the end of the plastering I was asked the name of the color of the wall and whether it was Linen White. That got me to thinking so I called the landlords and asked if I might change the color on the kitchen facing wall. They agreed so I called the office and we arranged that I would send them the color name by email. On day 2, with an unexpected time windfall, he primed it and while waiting for that to dry, ran and picked up the new paint color and then painted it, thus ending ahead of schedule and leaving me with a lovely yellow wall which makes me smile even now as I am staring at it.

I had a good experience from start to finish. Rob came over to speak with me about the project and provided the estimate. Jeff managed the project work and was my contact. He was very responsive and returned phone calls promptly. The crew was courteous and cleaned up every day and the work was done within the estimated time, which was about 4 weeks.

They have been really good. We had several meetings with them before we got this work done. They were good at scheduling these meetings. The owner actually came, talked to us and gave ideas. We had no idea as what had to be done and he explained everything. The work has been fantastic. They came back and fixed the small things which we noticed later.

We had some major issues with the quality of the tiling work and currently have some residual cracking in the walls. The shower that was installed later leaked (they came out and fixed this). Additionally, the finishing on certain touches are less than desirable, and look a little diy and not professional.

Fantastic experience from the first meeting with Rob through to the final city inspection. Rob was very helpful in brainstorming ideas for the kitchen to add functionality and make it appear bigger. The quality of work was excellent; the project was on time and on budget and there were no surprises throughout the six week remodel. Stealth gave me a timeline of when I needed to order and have delivered the cabinets, tile, appliances, etc. so materials I was responsible for were on site and the crew didn't have to wait for them. The crew was great - friendly, respectful, and did an amazing job of cleaning up at the end of each day so living through the construction was bearable. I highly recommend Stealth and would not hesitate to use them again for another project.

Overall, we were very happy with Stealth. The crew was respectful and courteous, and both Rob and Jeff were very responsive in calling us back, a rarity in the construction business, I ve found. They were very good about cleaning up, and they even landscaped the backyard at the end. The quality of the finished project is excellent. Stealth was on schedule--the only delay in the project came from the cabinet people. Our only complaint would be that we received about $4,000 in change orders over the course of the project, many of which probably could have been anticipated in the original quote, but in the grand scheme of things, we are very pleased with the work.

Originally I thought I would need a contractor AND a roofer to solve this problem. Luckily, Rob's team does it all. He arrived soon after I informed him of the ongoing water damage and hoped for my sake that faulty sealing around the deck posts were the problem. His guess was correct and his team fixed the problem in one afternoon. They removed a corner of drywall at the ceiling inside the house to air out the wall and after a few rains and no leaks, the team returned to replace the two deck boards, fix the ceiling, repaint the bathroom, and touch up the stained areas in the bedroom. This also took less than a day. Robert continues to honor his word and his judgement is terrific. I have recommended Stealth to many friends who not only use them, but also pass along their card to others.

Robert Leal did a walk-through of our house offering solutions for our storage needs and giving us good advise on how to quickly and less expensively provide mirrors for seven bathrooms. He sent a contract, but I added to the work as they went along, preferring these perfectionists hang some of our heavier artwork, so was charged the hourly rate for those extra things. The final bill was approximately what I expected and certainly cheaper than if I had used a "closet company." We will use Robert again to finish part of our basement and to do some painting.
