I have been a loyal customer of Harrison for almost 20 years... in the time since the merger with Boston Coach the company has fallen apart.... Really terrible customer service. 1 . They have 3 accounts for me and have promised to and quot;fixand quot; the system 3-4 times and have not.
2. Availability of cars. Never had a problem in all the time with Harrison of ever having them say carr were not available when I book more than 8 hours in advance.... now have had problems 3 of the last 5 times i have contacted them..... terrible customer service, really terrible... Derick and his brother ought to be appalled at was is happening to the combined companies
3. didn't have the and quot;cheeperand quot; car type available but could meet my order but at a higher price point... in the old days they have bent over backwards to say sorry and we will meet your need and not chagre you the difference... how thing shave changed.... silly a case book example of a merger not working well at all.... too big and too pro in terms of customer service

Dispatcher sent out a cab in record time to get me to an appointment. The driver was friendly and did his best to beat traffic, and I arrived on time!

driver called to confirm one day prior to when service was requested. A couple of phone calls and the problem was corrected. Driver was a bit on the fast and safe driving. We did arrive on time (for pick up and drop off; both in and out of Boston. Driver was very helpful with bags of which we had many.

Arrived early to our house, which left plenty of time to pack the suitcases in and change the baby's diaper one more time. We had only hired a taxi but they sent a Town Car which was nice. Both drivers were nice, professional, good-natured. Tip was included in overall price.

Great. The driver was professional and competent. This was the first time my mother was willing to and quot;splurgeand quot; on a limo service and she's a convert! She found the driver friendly, respectful, on time, and nice to talk to. She loved the comfort of the car.

We live in southern New Hampshire, but we sometimes fly in and out of Logan Airport in Boston. Taking a taxi from Boston to New Hampshire is always very expensive, and in general we don't like taxis. We have found that a Boston taxi is often smelly or the driver has an odd personality or the driver is a and quot;Boston driverand quot; that drives very aggressively which makes us uncomfortable. By the end of a long taxi ride, we usually can't wait to get out of the car, and we don't find it a relaxing experience.
So, for transportation to/from Boston Logan airport, we almost always use a pre-reserved limousine. If you find the right limo company, we have found the pricing of the limo is often the same or less than the cost of a taxi, and it's often a much more comfortable experience.
We used to have a limousine service we liked very much for our Boston airport runs, but they went out of business, so we were looking for another one.
We decided to try Harrison Transportation. We first used them in April 2012, for transportation from Boston Logan to our home in southern New Hampshire. It was an excellent experience. You can make a reservation with Harrison over the phone or on their web site. They give you a choice between a Ford Fusion, a standard Lincoln Town Car, or a van for a
larger group. We went with the Ford Fusion, because it was a little less expensive.
The cost was much less than taking a taxi, including tip. The driver was waiting for us when we arrived, and he was a very pleasant middle-aged fellow (which is also more comforting to me than young drivers in their 20s). He provided us with two complimentary bottles of water for our trip home, which was welcome after the dehydrating experience of being on an airplane. He was an excellent driver, driving very safely, smoothly, and defensively, and we never felt that we was doing the aggressive and quot;Boston driverand quot; thing. He was very pleasant to talk to, but also more than happy to leave us in peace when we wanted to to just relax. He asked us what kind of music we like, and he put that on the radio at a very low, relaxing volume.
Also, the tipping is prepaid, and the driver doesn't accept tips, so there is none of that awkwardness about the tip at the end of the journey. We also decided to prepay for the trip itself ahead of time (with a credit card), so no money changed hands at all, which is again relaxing.
The next time we needed a Boston airport limo, which was a month later in May 2012, we used Harrison again. And again the experience was excellent and relaxing, a carbon copy of our first experience. My flight was delayed by several hours coming into Boston, and that was no problem - Harrison tracked the arrival time of the flight, and the driver (in his 40s or 50s) was cheerfully waiting for me when I arrived. The only difference the second time was that I reserved and paid for a Ford Fusion again, but this time (because of my delayed flight) they picked me up in a Lincoln Town Car (no charge for the upgrade), and who was I to complain about all that luxury and legroom? :)
Harrison Transportation is now our limo of choice for any Boston airport runs. They are inexpensive, reliable, cheerful, great drivers, their cars are clean and comfortable, and the whole experience is very relaxing. I've taken a lot of limos over the past few decades, and I've had similar, but never a better, experience than with Harrison.

Very professional and excellent, safe driver. Booked a few days in advance. Chose their less expensive Ford Fusion service (rather than a Town Car), because only one person was traveling. The airport police only allow the limos to stay at the curb for a short time, so Harrison's system is the driver waits at the airport until you call the driver on your cell phone as soon as the baggage belt starts moving (if you have baggage). Met upstairs at the curb in the limo pickup spot, just as agreed. He even had 2 bottles of complimentary water waiting. Excellent, smooth one hour ride to southern New Hampshire. Driver was upbeat and pleasant but not intrusive.

Their rates, especially for the Ford Fusion car, are excellent. They build the tip into the price, which many limo services do these days, and which I really like because I can pay for the whole trip in advance and there is no awkwardness about the tip at the end of the journey. The total cost was $160, but that included tolls, the Boston Logan tax on each trip for limos, and the tip for the driver. The base rate was $125, which is excellent. Most limo services are more expensive than that, and a one hour drive in a taxi would be more than that, and yet this was prearranged and very pleasant,

We will definitely use them again. Harrison has now become our and quot;go toand quot; limo service for the Boston area and Boston airport.

They were on time and got us there. They were very friendly and did a great job. I would highly recommend them and will use them again.

My contact at Harrison's (Debbie) was incredibly helpful, responsive and pleasant to deal with. The driver was punctual, and also very professional. The whole experience went flawlessly. Price-wise I think they were slightly more expensive (~$100-150 more) than a few of the other companies I spoke with, but I felt they were much more professional and detail-oriented. I think it was worth it. Would use them again.

We have used Harrison for almost 4 years for trips back and forth to the airport. They are always early/on-time and the drivers are always professional.

Called last minute (the night before) for a ride from Lexington to Logan airport the next day. Person who answered was courteous and expedient. Ride came on time. Driver was professional. Service was excellent. Rate was competitive even compared to taxis; I paid more taking a taxi from the airport to Lexington on my way back. I would definitely use them again,when I need a ride to the airport.

Excellent service. This is the fourth car service I have tried and it is the best. The driver was perfect. I will only use them going forward.

Harrison Transportation Services is very accommodating for different size car needs depending on the number of passengers. They are never late and even call ahead to check on flight information. They use a nicer quality type of car than most car services.

We needed pick-up at 5:30 am for our trip to Logan. Our driver was right on time and took us quickly to Logan. We arranged for a pick-up for our return at 1 a.m. 3 weeks later. Our driver was waiting, courteous and helpful. Both drivers were willing to chat but not garrulous. The 'taxi' was a clean, neat, Crown Victoria. Harrison's flat-rate service to Logan price includes tunnels and tip. Payment can be made by cash or credit card and can be made with the office in advance for quicker service and better security. They also have a limousine service. What a pleasant change from our last local taxi which included a load of rotting lettuce from a market to feed the driver's rabbits!!!!
