Bostonean Marble Granite and Quartz

I have never posted a negative review, but this experience warrants one. We got a quote from Bostonean. When they came out to measure for our countertops, they insisted that they absolutely had to take our sink with them. Against our better judgement, we let them. When they came back with a final quote almost $1,000 more than the original, we decided to go with another company that offered the exact same product for less. When my husband went to get the sink from them, he found it unprotected, face down on the concrete floor of their warehouse and the front apron had been completely chipped and scratched. They first tried to say it must have been like that, but when we showed them pictures from a few hours before they took it, they stopped responding altogether. Now we need to replace an expensive sink in short order that they ruined. As an aside, I also own a small business and know that mistakes happen! But their unwillingness to work with us in any capacity is frustrating, wrong, costly, and unprofessional. We would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Work was good but poor communication, lack of professionalism etc. made it a bad experience.    Matt rarely answers his phone.  He has voicemail, but he never returns calls.  When you get lucky and he actually answers, he makes promises he does not keep, like "I will call you tomorrow with that answer."  He does not call.  Ever.  Maybe I saved a few dollars on the counters but I lost much more in wasted time, delay and frustration.   If you value your time and like to be treated respectfully, hire someone else.  Matt does not respect his customers enough to return calls and keep promises.   In the end I spoke with Junior, the owner of the company and got a nice apology, but that's all.    
When I hire a contractor, I don't just want a good end product, I want a good experience getting there.  Now that my new house is ready for counters, I am contracting with someone else.  He screwed up the small job, so he won't get the bigger job.

Very good for the price.

They were on time. The work was excellent. There was an issue with the dishwasher as it wasn't delievered yet. Once it was, they finished the job. He did come back and give great service.
