Gustavo and team renovated a very TIRED bathroom in my very old house in June. Beautiful tile work, always professional, lots of patience with me, as I changed a few things mid-stream and that created some challenges and delays for all concerned. I discovered a minor problem that came up just recently (not his fault) and he was immediately responsive, dropped everything, and came to my house the very next day. He troubleshot the issue and kept at it until he found the source of and solution for the problem. I would recommend his company for bathroom renovation - without reservation.

Charged me for a bag of grout for $100 and a delivery fee of $50..these prices were never reviewed before hiring. I would have picked up my out grout. The delivery charge was just a slap in the face.

The re-grouting work was done in the time they said. My only concern was the amount of lumps of grout left on some of the other surfaces, like the towel rack. It took longer than expected to clean up.

Horrible! ...everything is crooked, cuts are not straight, lines are uneven...just a mess. This was a simple backsplash job. Now I have to hire someone new to demo the entire job and start over. Clearly he had never worked with glass tile before. Additionally, he used my newly installed marble island top as his work surface and damaged that too. I should have overseen his progress more closely but was preparing for surgery the next day and trusted that he knew what he was doing. I am just sick over this entire experience. I thought I was hiring a professional who had been vetted by homeadvisor. Is there any kind of protection provided to consumers for shoddy workmanship by contractors affiliated with homeadvisor? Is there a homeadvisor guarantee?

Gustavo did not clean up after the job was done and, worse, he damaged our shower. We hired him for a small job â regrout the shower perimeter and replace three tiles. His quote was expensive $680, several hundred more than another guyâ but we have a high-end bathroom and thought we were paying for quality work. That was not the case. He said it was a one day job but then, once here, said he would come back the following day as well. Midway through the first day I heard pounding on what sounded like stone. There was no need to pound on anything. I went upstairs and there was what looked like dirt (?) in the shower - I wondered where that came from. I also noted that he had not put protective covering down so even the vanity had some of the grout paste spackled on it. The white bathroom tile was covered over with dirty footprints. I asked to please cover and protect our bathroom. He hadnâ t brought a rag or paper towels so we supplied those, he also didnâ t have a ladder so he borrowed ours. Most distressing, at the end of the first day the shower floor tile was cracked. We use this bathroom every day. Every. Single. Day. It was not cracked before he came. I had called him because of a tiny crack in the tile that was about an inch big and I ended up with several cracks several feet long. He said he could fix the new cracks that he made but would have to remove the entire floor, the pan, and two rows of the wall tie for, you guessed it, an astronomical price. And he said he had a plumber friend who could fix our damaged pipe. We DID NOT have a damaged pipe before he came along. I have â beforeâ pictures that I sent him to ask if it was too small a job. My before pictures do not have the cracks that appeared after he took a tool to it. Iâ m looking into how to follow up to get this fixed by a reputable worker, not Gustavo.

Gus was very responsive to my every need relating to my bath tile replacement. I was very impressed with how quickly he responded back to me with my answered questions. Many times he simply answered the phone immediately. The tile work was very professional, and they were able to work around the difficulties. A lot of work was required and time was limited. Ran into unexpected issues due to the age of the home, but was always corrected, completed with great satisfaction.
