Grass Roots Landscaping

A contract price was agreed upon in the Summer of 2015 and the work was scheduled and deposit paid for the Fall of 2015. The start was put off at the request of Grass Roots. The work was put off several times before being started in the Spring, 2016. Workers and materials arrived and work progressed in a workman-like manner. Upon completion, Grass Roots requested payment of $10,000 more than the contract price. Several thousand dollars more in materials was used than was estimated but not near $10,000 more. We finally settled on an amount near the middle and include some additional tree work to arrive at the final cost. We complained also of a small problem regarding the color and workmanship of some cement product used in several places. The Grass Roots representative agreed that a different color product should have been used and he agreed to replace it for an additional fee of several hundred dollars. They missed the scheduled work date.
