No problems...but not a “service”

It went great and we will use them again when we need appliances

Great, was able to get the 3 appliances we needed at a competitive rate and an outstanding warranty.

 I have used GW Toma as my appliance store purchase and repair for many years.  They have provided me with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, etc.  In fact, when my old refrigerator died, they brought me a new one the same day.  What a relief.  Last summer I installed a new kitchen and called Valerie at Toma -- bought everything over the phone.  I have shopped with them since 1990 and the kicker is that I have yet to step foot in any of their stores.

Good company to work with - reliable, helpful, personable

This was my second time using this company for appliance replacement,
and each time the process went off very well, frompoint of sale through delivery,
no problems whatsoever. Would highly recommend this company.

First, the delivery staff there are amazing.  They are so careful with your house, the appliance, taking out the old one, etc.  They were polite, and there wasn't even the tiniest scratch or ding anywhere.  A huge difference from another major appliance place I tried first. 
The salesman was respectful, worked within what I wanted and my budget and helped find all rebates and sales available. 
They also do their own repairs.  Haven't needed to use it yet, but that was another valuable service with this company as many major appliance places have outsourced their repairs.

the first dishwasher was damaged in transit but in two or three days a new dishwasher was installed.

We used the Brockton location. We went to Toma and picked out our machines and they were delivered/installed as agreed. They had very good selection and price was competitive for someone very knowledgeable about the products they sell and service.

They are very reliable and they're honest. It's a family owned business. I've been doing business with them for the past 21 years. They are very good. They have a warranty they provide which I would recommend because if anything ever goes wrong they come out without a question and repair it. They don't give you any trouble for the repairs process. Their prices are a little higher but it's worth it for the service you get and the warranties they offer. They deliver free of charge as well. They've been in business for over 50 years and they send you a thank you card follow-up and make sure that everything is going well, which you don't get with some of the big chains. They are very accommodating with their visits and will give you a call to let you know they are on their way, and will also call you about 3 hours before they arrive as well.

They are very accommodating and didn't rush you, they let you pick what you want and answered all my questions promptly and efficiently.  I met the owner also and he thanked me for the business and he was very nice and easy to talk to.

They were superb. Their choice of product, their pricing, their service were good and they installed everything and they took away the old stuff. They are very professional and do a superb job. I would use them again in the future.

They have been around forever and they have a small store feel instead of going to the department store where no one gives a darn about you. They are cheaper than other places.

Had to replace a ten year old machine and found them on Angies's List.  Without using our GPS, we never would have found the place coming from Plymouth.  Once there, we were immediately helped and due to the comfort level we felt based on the sales person's kowledge, we decided to buy the washer that day.  It was delivered two days later and installed in 15-20 minutes.

We have never had sercvice like Toma's service.  The are prompt, Knowledgeable and efficient.  I recommend them highly.  Consumer report says that most appliance will last about 3 years which makes you wonder why we as a whole don't value quality, but Toma is the exception- it speaks quality service>  A+

The sales, service and the delivery was fine, but the delivery people who were suppose to connect it didn't know how to connect it.  They said that they did know how to connect it, but they didn't connect it right.  I needed additional help on that and I had to have the cable company.  The cable company had their tech support walk in.  When I went back to George Washington Toma and complained, they compensated me for it.

I have always been very impressed by the staff at GWT. The staff is very friendly and I felt I got a good deal on the washer/dryer. I have had to call a few times to schedule delivery, repair, etc. and more often than not, Mr. Toma himself answers the phone. I've always been impressed with that.
I recently bought new appliances for my kitchen project and shopped here first. I really wanted to buy Jenn-Air products but they don't sell them. If they had I definitely would have purchased from them. The salesman was very professional and knowledgeable and would call me back within minutes if I had to leave him a vmail.
I ended up purchasing my Jenn-Air appliances from Yale Appliance in Dorchester (I have left them a review here on AL) and the things that happened to me at Yale would never have happened at GWT.
I have had to have my washer/dryer serviced a couple times and GWT has the best service department I have ever dealt with. The appointment is made for a time that is convenient to me, they call you the day before the appointment to remind you that someone will be coming over to your house and the service guys are polite and professional. I have had several contractors tell me that GWT has the best service department in the business and I absolutely agree with this assessment.
