clock repair
+ -1 moreAfter we purchased it, he was supposed to come over to service it, but was unresponsive about getting here. Had to call several times, and he was gruff on phone. We had another clock repair look at it who found a flaw: It struck nine times for 10 o'clock and 10 times for nine o'clock. Unclear whether Neil wasn't aware of this (which would mean he wasn't careful; our clock guy said that was something which should have been checked immediately) or he was aware of it and didn't tell us (which would impugn his integrity). In any event, everyone agreed it wasn't an easy thing to fix so we went the clock back to the company we bought it from (which employed Neil as a contractor evidently).
Description of Work: He claims to have re-built/serviced/checked over an antique grandfather clock which we purchased.
