Action Pest Control

The guy was nice. I think pest control services are all merely a waste of money. They just drop a few things all around your place and that's about it. I don't think they have a ton of value. They did come back because we couldn't get into one of the units so they were at least flexible there. The pricing was high.

Action Pest Control was easy to reach by phone and I was able to make an appointment in short order. They showed up on time, did a thorough inspection, laid some baited traps and were out of there in no time. The guy who did the work was really nice and professional. When a bloated and nearly dead mouse staggered into the kitchen about a week later, I called back to find out if this was a sign of any problems. They assured me it was unusual, but not a sign of any issues. The guy gave me his cell phone number to call if anything else came up, which was really above and beyond. I hope not to have pest problems again, but I will call Action if I do.

We had a bad flea problem from some kittens we took in to foster. They spread to one of our older cats. It  was so bad that I had to strip my bedding everyday and had to do laundry everyday for a week. I got bit alive every night.You could see minute fleas hopping around in my bed by morning.  At night  i would put new sheets on and stare at the bed for 20 mins to make sure there were no bugs. The cat does not even come in my bedroom.  It was a nightmare for me.  I called other pest control companies before calling Action Pest.  Not only were they down the street from me, but his price was half the amount then some other companies. He was very friendly  very personable and was able to come within a day or two, I left the house while he did his thing to do another all day event at the laudromat and take 4 cats to the groomers. He did say that i may see some small fleas for maybe a week. I never saw 1 flea from that day on.  Fabulous.  I'm glad I found him on Angie's list

The lady of the house heard some scratching in the ceiling late at night.
Called the number at 9 am.  Received a return call from the owner within 20 minutes.
An appointment was made for companies earliest time slot - around noon but someone
would be home.  The tech called mentioning that he could be there by 10:30 am.
The tech was punctual, courteous, and performed a walk around the entire house inside and out.
The entire experience was perfectly performed by a smiling tech.
If you have a pest issue on the sough shore area..........YOU MUST CALL THEM....!!!!!

Great job!

I called them because I had a carpenter ant nest in my shed. They showed up on time and were very courteous answering all my questions. They found the nest in the shed and exterminated it that day. He also offered to spray the foundation while he was here. A week later I saw more ants so I called them back. He was more than happy to come down and located another nest and exterminated it. Since then I have not had another problem. I would recommend them highly and I plan on calling them back every spring for preventative maintenance. I find their pricing to be very competitive and reasonable.

Many ants were treated and the pesticide was fast. They stayed away until some heavy rain in September, but we haven't seen any since then. Was easy to work with, punctual and the work has a guarantee.

Representative was on time and thorough.  Explained everything he did.

It was great and the primary reason I used them for the service was during the inspection period on the house 4 weeks prior I had called several pest companies to perform and inspection and had no luck getting a company who was reasonably priced and could accommodate short notice. Tim called me right back, was at the house the next day, and was awesome. So, when it came time for the service I called them again and got the same prompt answer and again they we able to fit is in on short notice. These guys are great - would definitely use again.

Very friendly and efficient service provider.  Each unit has at least one cat, so we were concerned that about treatments that would affect pets.  We were assured that no treatment would be safe, and we did not experience any difficulties.  We were also encouraged to contact them if we were still seeing mice after a day or two.  Anytime I have called them, they have been friendly and prompt.

It was great.  Left a message the day before, Tim called me right back and they were able to schedule in the inspection the next afternoon.  Very responsive and easy to work with.  Will definitely be using for our pest service once we are moved in a settled.

The company called me right back and said they could send someone over in between jobs because the person in the field was nearby.  He also recommended I try to remove it myself to save money but I declined!  They called when they were close and the provider was great.  He came right in and removed it.  I asked him about a few ants I had seen and he recommended a spray I could use first to save money.  Great service, great price and helpful in trying to keep the costs down. Highly recommend them!

Chad is the exterminator who services our home. He is very courteous and professional. He is open to my questions and always takes care to not hurt/spray our plantings. I feel like he is giving me a good deal and treating my home thoroughly for pests.

I called Action Pest Control on Wednesday and they called me right back. I spoke with Tim and he explained the process to me of taking care of the ant problem. The guy came out the next day and was able to spray the inside and outside of the house. He also explained the spraying to me and talked about the centipedes with me. He checked my upstairs bathroom because I thought there may be a nest in the wall. He was able to determine there was not a nest but the ants were coming in from a nearby tree. He recommended cutting back the tree branches. He let me know to call them back if I saw anymore ants, which I have not! He also let me know they would send me a letter next year to remind me to have them return to spray again to make sure the ants do not return. The overall process was very smooth, professional and quick. I would highly recommend Action Pest Control and will use them again myself.

I was called 45 minutes ahead of their arrival, he took a look around the house for other nests to be sure that was the only one, and then sprayed the active one as well as another location that I'd seen a nest.  I was told it would take 2 days for the product to work, and was given the Angie's list discount without having to give any reminder. Quick and professional, and the wasps are gone.

I met with Tim on Thursday April 4 after work and he inspected the basement.  He diagnosed the issue as swarmers and recommended the Termidor treatment for treatment.  He said it was the best treatment on the market and that he does not use any other product to ensure the problem does not persist.  His price quoted was much cheaper than other companies and I decided to go ahead with his contract.  We did not settle on an exact date as I was not sure of my schedule, and we agreed that I would call Tim back in a few days to pick a date and time.  I called Tim on Saturday April 6 and asked if he could come out the following Friday.  He said his schedule was pretty busy, but that he would try and squeeze me in.  On Thursday April 11, Tim called and said that he would not be able to make it on Friday but that he would send someone out on Saturday April 13. 
Chad showed up around 11 AM on Saturday April 13 and went right to work.  The entire job took about 2 hours and everything went very smoothly.  I was impressed with Action's work and efficiency.  My contract also comes with a 3 year warranty, so if the problem continues, Action Pest Control will come back out for free and remedy the issue. I would highly recommend Action Pest Control for any pest issues.

He did a thorough inspection of my home and went around the foundation and filled in a few holes. He was reassuring and professional and guaranteed the service for 6 months. There was a discount for being an Angie's list member - I didn't have to remind him, he automatically applied it. (The owner mentioned it to me also the night before on the phone.) Very satisfied customer.

Overall the work provided by Action Pest Control was excellent, timely, reasonable and professional. We were very pleased!

Tim was a pleasure to work with.  He responded to the phone call very quickly and was able to come out that same day.  I would highly recommend action pest control.

Very courteous on the phone--quick turnaround time with responding to a message I had left. Very helpful in explaining the process--what needed to be done at the house, inside/outside, etc. Arrived on time, very punctual, polite, and professional.  Was quoted $225 on the phone, final bill was $250.

They were very good. They were the only pest control service provider that I used. They came right out and fixed the problem the first time. I would rate them as excellent. Their price was competitive. They were excellent in terms of their responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism.

Luckily we didn't have any more little friends come to visit.  Tim provided us with great comfort and he couldn't have been any faster to our house.
