I left a voicemail with my request in the morning. I received a response within an hour and was able to set up a time for the afternoon. All the work was done quickly and professionally - all the time explaining why something was being done. He provided some good maintenance tips overall.

These guys are great. I called Jim and he sent out Scott and Walter who were great guys to work with, very polite/professional and knowledgeable, they troubleshooted the problem and ordered the part that was broken. Luckily for me it was still under warranty. Once the part came in Jim called me and scheduled it to be installed. We were extremely pleased with Walpole doors. I would highly recommend these guys.

A salesman came out and we discussed several different types of doors and their cost. I decided on a particular brand and style and he gave me an excellent price. When the doors came in they called to set up installation. They showed up on time and went right to work. They did an excellent job and cleaned up. The were very professional start to finish.

Working with Jim was a positive experience.  Jim was very quick to respond to my initial inquiry, and was able to fit my job into his schedule relatively quickly.  He explained the differences between and provided recommendations for a door based on what I was looking for, and was able to install a new steel door using my existing tracks, which saved me a bit of money.  The door looks fantastic.  Jim was very responsive and very professional, and I would definitely recommend his services.

Great service!  I called on a Monday morning, left a message and got a call back in two minutes.  I spoke with Jim and he was at my house in less than an hour.  Very friendly , explained the problem, and promptly fixed the garage door.

The owner promptly returned my call and we were able to schedule the technician for the following day. I felt confident that I didn't need to get multiple quotes for the work but trusted them right away based on the focused questions that we covered. The work that was conducted was thorough, complete and very quick to get the garage back to its original working condition.

The doors are far superior to the wooden doors we had previously.  The insulation cuts down the draft significantly and the doors look better and are much quieter than the old doors when operating and the insulation cuts down on street noise.  He arrived on time to install them and his service was great.  They were meticulous about cleaning up after the installation.  We have used Walpole Doors a number of times in the past to service our old wooden doors and they always did great work, so we didn't hesitate to use them to replace the doors with new and better ones.  We are extremely satisfied and would definitely use Walpole Doors again.

Replacing the torsion springs which are huge is harder than it sounds. The service was outstanding. I called their office at 6:30 pm on the 6th after the spring broke and the garage door crashed to the floor. My car was trapped inside and the door was impossible to manually open without two or three strong men. I had an appointment at 11:00 am the next day so I needed to get out. I left a message as their office was closed but the call transferred to the owner, Jim Curley, who called me back within 5 minutes. Two servicemen showed up at 9:00 am and finished the job by 10:00. Could not ask for anything better than that.

After some issues with doors opening on their own we made the decision to swap out our old garage door openers for new ones. I called Jim and he responded immediately. He came within three days and installed two new garage door openers. The openers were installed professionally and clean. All of the old equipment was taken, and new rails installed for the new openers. When we decide to change our doors, I will contact Jim again.

I contacted Walpole Doors because my current garage door opener was extremely loud and could be heard in the bedroom above the garage making it impossible to sleep through the garage door opening and closing.  I called and got an appointment for the next day.  Walter looked at the garage doors for FREE and made some suggestions.  I contacted another well known garage door company prior to Walpole doors and they told me they would only come out and take a look if I paid a service fee.
On top of the free quote, Walter also gave me the details in writing.  Before committing to the work, I called the company and spoke with Jim, the owner.  He answered every question I had and didn't rush me off the phone.  The work was performed the next week and what a difference!  I am extremely satisfied.  Every change Walter and team made really did make a difference and now we can park our cars in the garage again and I can sleep. (THANK YOU)  Plus, when the workers were delayed coming to my house, the owner Jim called me to tell me they would be late. I found Walpole Doors to be reliable and perform quality work.

Initial call promptly returned and appointment scheduled at my convenience. On day of service received a call to alert us the technician was running a bit late and to reconfirm address. He arrived shortly after and immediately set to work. Technician examined the doors and then explained the problem of the wearing springs on two of our doors. He quoted a price, explained in detail what he would be replacing, and had the needed parts. Work was completed quickly and efficiently. Work area was cleaned.

Our garage door suddenly decided not to open Monday morning. I called Walpole Doors and left a message and received a call back within an hour. Someone was sent out to us to diagnose the problem and the new springs were ordered. I received a call Monday evening from Jim letting me know the parts needed and the cost as well as an expected arrival time the next day. He returned on Tuesday (a little later than expected in the day) and fixed the door quickly with no issues. I was very pleased.

Jim called immediately after I submitted my request. He came out quickly and gave me an estimate. What I truly appreciated was that he didn't try to push a more expensive door. I had picked a specific door already and he showed me the same door with a cheaper price because I didn't need insulation. His quote was also lower than the other quotes I received for the same door.

Returned my inquiry in a timely manner, punctual, neat and clean. Performed as promised.

Both times that I called, they showed up within hours to fix the problem. They are reasonably priced and very professional. The second time they came, they didn't even charge me because the problem was a quick fix. One of our doors has occasional problems and they told us how much it would be to fix it but didn't pressure us to do it right away -- actually suggested that we wait until we needed to do it. Very nice guys and very easy to work with. Will be using them again when that second garage door eventually gives!

I called him last week, got an appointment today, he came as scheduled, replaced openers and also a rail wheel and showed me how to program the door. Excellent and very professional. Good price.
