Your crew can't paint if their life depending on it. The walls look like crap. Stick to what you actually know how to do because painting isn't one of them. They did a beautiful job painting the walls, vanity, and a matching cabinet. The room has been absolutely transformed. Bryan and Stephanie checked in routinely throughout the project. This summer Powell Painting painted our house and shed. They did an amazing job, not only on the painting but an the prep work. The crew was meticulous during the prep process to get the house ready for paint. I would give them 5 stars for service, quality of work and project follow through. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Powell Painting. They owner Bryan is an excellent communicator. From the estimate, to contract signing to daily visits to our home just before and during the project-excellent! Bryan found two things a previous contractor missed. Not only was he forthcoming about it, but he was also able to get us someone to help resolve our issue. The two primary gentleman that did our project was Freddie and Bernardo. I cannot say enough about how good the quality of their work was and how kind they are. Eric joined them partway through-another great painter! The men went above and beyond. We faced many weather challenges, but the team was able to get things done. The replaced some of the siding on our home, squared off the frame around our garage doors, added soffits, added a new front door and sidelights and painted our entire exterior. Just prior to the painting we had 29 new construction windows put in. Bryan noticed a seal error right away and his team was able to fix it. They also painted all the new interior trim, fixed a bathroom ceiling and repainted the entire room. Very meticulous. Excellent indoor prep-not a drop of paint anywhere. And very patient as I have 4 children and itâ s constantly busy in my house. I plan on calling them in the future for any interior needs.

When I am looking to hire a professional for a job, I go with the company I personally feel comfortable with. I needed quite a lot of work done to my 100-year-old house. I wanted gutters removed, trim boards fixed, cedar shingles replaced. I wanted the house painted. I chose Powell Paining because of Bryan, the owner. He was straight forward and honest. I received a detailed quote listing everything we discussed. When I decided to go ahead with the job in May, Stephanie in the office quoted me a start date of end of July beginning of August. They were spot on. Even with the incredibly rainy summer we were having. They pressure washed on July 24th. The woodwork began on July 31st. The crew was amazing. They started working before 8 am and they worked until after 7 pm, some days even after 8 pm. Every day they cleaned up all debris around the house leaving it looking better than when they started. In total it took 7 days to remove gutters, remove my shutters, power wash, replace boards, replace cedar shingles, prime, paint and rehang my shutters. There was a project manager stopping by every day to make sure everything was going smoothly. Bryan was also stopping in to see the progress. The team was constantly in touch with me. The communication was amazing. They kept me informed of any schedule changes, and questions they had, following up to make sure I was happy with the progress. They did an outstanding job. While the crew was working, we discovered a bad infestation of wasps. Bryan contacted a company he uses to get rid of them. 5 minutes later that company was calling me to schedule coming out to spray. Within an hour of discovering the problem, I had already set up the eradication for 9:00am the next day. Bryan's suggested company was very affordable. The quote I received from Bryan was incredibly close to what I ended up paying. With my house being over 100 years old, I had a contingency budget of over 30%. I expected significant issues to arise. I only needed 9% for issues that arose. I added on work, and they fit it in no issue. When the job was complete, I found two trim boards I didn't like. It had nothing to do with the job the crew did. It had to do with the grain of the wood and the way the light hit it. Bryan sent the crew out immediately to address my concerns. I expected to show them what I was talking about and then get a date they could come back. Nope. The same day they were getting ladders off the truck to address my issue. The entire team at Powell is amazing. Friendly, polite, funny! They are respectful of your property. I loved the pace the guys worked at. I was at work for most of the job. I used my security cameras to check in on the progress. I was thrilled with the care and attention to detail they showed. They were not in a rush. They made sure it was done correctly. I would hire this team again and again. I've already added on replacing my storm door. It is hard to find a company you can trust. You can trust Powell Painting.

The team at Powell did a fantastic job on our home. The one side was chipping paint like crazy and now it looks brand new! We couldnâ t be happier and canâ t recommend them enough!

We cannot say enough good things about Powell Painting and their staff. We brought them in to refresh our largest social hall, involving wallpaper removal, carpentry, painting and wood refinishing. Bryan and his crew were so easy to work with- respectful of our time constraints, communicative, and very solution-driven. They were always prepared, very clean and neat. They did a fabulous job in prepping the room, taking great care to wrap our draperies, flooring and woodwork. Quite simply, an impeccable job! We look forward to working with them again!

Powell did a great job on my house trim. They repaired and replaced rotted window frames, door frames, etc. The crew was very professional and neat. Best of all, the office was super supportive. BTW, Powell estimated the job over 18 months ago, just before Covid, and they kept the price the same, even as inflation hit. I highly recommend Power Painting and Home Services!

The team at Powell Painting did an excellent job with our kitchen . We had all our cabinets primed & repainted which gave a beautiful upgraded look to our home. Extremely professional & responsive with quality work . We would definitely recommend.

My wife chose Powell Painting due to their ability to be lead-safe compliant. And it was worth the price. Bryan and his teams of people were always professional, courteous, punctual and hardworking. They took care of everything Bryan quoted and then were able to do more than just paint as some siding and bulkhead framing pieces needed replacement. My wife commented "the house has not looked this good since I bought it 20 years ago." That is a huge testament to Bryan's workers when they can please my wife with such high praise. Due to great sun exposure on 1 side of the house, we know we will be bringing Powell Painting back in a few years to take care of that side and then years later to handle the rest. After 20 years our house was in desperate need of carpentry work and painting. After receiving several quotes we went with Powell Painting and Home Services and couldnâ t be happier with our decision. The work was completed weeks ahead of schedule and Bryan and his team were responsive, hardworking and professional. They truly exceeded our expectations and we wouldnâ t hesitate to hire them in the future

In May 2022, we contracted with Powell Painting to 1) remove mildew, 2) sand and 3) stain a large free-standing gazebo that had many years of mildew damage. This was a complex job and we had difficulty finding someone to take it on. Bryan and his team (headed by a good foreman) proved to be hard working, thorough, kept to their word in terms of timing, delivered as they indicated, and answered our questions. We are very pleased with the final product.

We just had our house painted after 17 years. We have Hardy Plank siding. I cannot recommend Powell Painting more highly. They addressed issues common to the siding product and removed a lot of rot on the trim boards. Bryan was a dream to work with. He visited the site every day. I was assigned a crew chief that I would go if I had questions and he and the rest of the crew were professional, responsive and eager to please. This is a top notch company. Stephanie in the office could not have been nicer and easier to work with. Please consider if you are thinking of painting.

Powell painting has done several rooms in our house and weâ ve been very pleased with the results. Brian is responsive, professional, and courteous and his pricing is reasonable. His team of painters are hard workers and do a great job of working out imperfections in old walls and making them look new again. I would highly recommend them for any painting/refinishing job.

Powell Painting Services did an amazing job. We just bought a new home and wanted to repaint and make sure that all of the wood on the house and trim was holding up and keeping the bones of our house safe. Brian provided us with a very detailed quote that stood out from all the other places we got quotes from, making sure we knew all of the things they were intending to do to our house. They came out, power washed it, and over a few days, did the woodwork repairs and painting. At the end of the process, the owner walked with us around the house to make sure we were satisfied with everything and fixed up any loose ends. Our family was highly satisfied with Powell!

Bryan and his crew were great. I had some interior painting and carpentry done. The work was done beautifully and could not be any be anymore pleased with their work. My home was left spotless after the project was done. If you want quality work for a reasonable price give Bryan a call.

Powell Painting are professional and meticulous . From the first conversation to the estimate and the whole of the project it was an amazingly good experience. The house was not just painted; it was power washed so good, I have never seen our stairs look so clean and white. The crew went over the house with a magnifying glass and informed us of every little or big damage that they found made by years and weather. Of course they fixed everything. Then the house was scraped to the bare wood where that was needed. Bryan sent us photographs and drone movies of the progress which was wonderful to see and share with our family and friends. Every question that we had was answered promptly and with knowledge. Bryan advised me about the colours combination and about where to paint each colour. His advice was always both artistic and clever. The result is magnificent. The house looks so elegant and beautiful now. I will add that the cost estimate was good. Also the project started earlier than we thought and ended before the time it was supposed to which was very nice. Bryan also reassured me that he will attend to any change or addition that I will have in mind. I liked that. We feel very lucky to have Bryan / Powell Painting as our contractor and will trust to him any future project that we might have.

Brian and his crew are great professionals. Excellent communication. Impressive itemized estimate. Fantastic quality of work and attention to detail. Particularly impressed with the refinish work they did on our porch ceiling that hadn't been touched for over twenty years and now looks great - fully sanded and sealed with clear lacquer! I knew going into 2021, I had to give my half bath and kitchen a facelift, especially after having no dishwasher (again). Before I bought my townhouse, my last rental didnâ t have one and if was going to do a dishwasher installation project, I was updating everything. I saw before and after photos posted on the Dedham Connection FB page from Bryanâ s company and hands down knew I had to go with him. I didnâ t even bother inquiring to anyone else. Iâ m very pleased with the final product and even after buying new appliances, replacing toilet, vanity, etc the project for both came under my anticipated max budget. They guys made things right with final touch ups if discrepancies were found after the fact. Bryan even said if after some time passes and something isnâ t right, to let him know. Highly recommend!
