PLD Construction & Remodeling

Patrick was a consummate professional throughout the entire process. He was prompt with his review of our issue and proposal for work to be done within a week. He said the project would take 5 weeks(end of July-August 2016) due to a planned vacation he actually told us he was taking at the planning meeting (competitors said 3) but Pat was done exactly when he said he would be done. He explained all that was to be done and when confronted with add-ons by us during the process he was patient and gave a good price for the fine craftsmanship( add ons add gate to top of stairs for kids, grading of area around deck, add floating lattice under deck, add Azek landing at foot of stairs, remove old retention timbers and replace with new 6x6 timbers, box in base of deck with 6x6 timbers and add new crushed blue stone under deck... Relocate dryer vent outside of deck since it would have seen 6" above the new decking, install a new bathroom vanity) Pat and his apprentice Mike where the only ones working on the job each day and sometimes Saturday's. For someone who watches This Old House, I felt as though Pat brought that same level of knowledge and EXTREME ATTENTION TO DETAIL. They even when so far as to paint the support beams black so they would be hidden and not visible through the lattice. He provided indoor finish grade carpentry to our outside deck. I can't tell you the number of compliments that I have gotten from others. Basically, if you want to invest in your project and have it be done to last a lifetime. Call PLD construction if you want to invest in quality work. We hope to have him back soon to replace our exterior clapboard and windows doors etc. Cost below is with all the add ons

Friendly and professional, an excellent experience overall

I didn't know remodeling could be such a pleasant experience! Patrick came when he said he would and completed the job within the time-frame he had estimated (a little over 2 weeks). The quality of Pat's workmanship was excellent. He cleaned up after himself (and his sub-contractors) at the end of every day, His guidance and suggestions were so helpful: for example, he suggested we add crown moulding around the top of the walls, build shelves into a "dead" wall area, and continue the tile in the tub area to include the ceiling over the tub and installed a fan/light, which is great for keeping the bathroom moisture-free. These details really created an up-scale, finished look to the bathroom. Patrick's skill, professionalism and "good eye" combined to achieve exactly what wanted - a beautiful bathroom, on time and within budget! PLD Construction will definately be first on our list to call for our next project!

It went extraordinarily well. The gentleman is very professional, personable, and trustworthy. He does amazing work and pays great attention to detail. I would hire him again without question. The experience was wonderful.
