It was the worst experience I have ever had. They lied about everything. It did not get done in time. It was not an actual four season room but a sunroom not useable in winter. They did not make it to the specifications on the drawings. They never showed up until 9-9:30 everyday and quit by 2- 2:30. The workmanship was horrible. They tried to get money from the finance company before the room was finished even though they did not finish the job and the contract stated final payments upon completion of the job. They decided they were not qualified to do the more complicated carpentry so they just quit refusing to give any credit for the unfinished contractual work yet they insisted I pay them the rest of the money or they threatened to take the room down. Not knowing how much it would cost to get the work finished I would not pay the remainder of the money. It is now August. They started in December and the room has not been signed off by the Building Dept. They are refusing to give the Building inspector the information he needs to sign off. They have initiated a law suit against me and have attached a lien to my home. This has caused me to spend thousand of dollars to defend myself against these despicable people. I found out I am the 4th person to report them to the MA Attorney General. Wished I had checked there before I hired them. They have thirty plus complaints with the BBB as well. In summary do not hire this company. Patio Enclosures also know as Great Day Home improvements is a completely fraudulent company. Your worst nightmare. The workmanship is horrible. They started 2 months late, The roof leaks already. Ron Degraw, GM is a bully. They over charged me by about $25,000 and never did the work. Check with the AG and BBB before you hire someone. I sure wish I had.

The guy was really good, very thorough, a few minutes late coming in. He was very patient, he was here an hour and a half. He had his computer, and showed us some examples, I wasn't really thrilled with the designs I saw. The thing is, I didn't have any particular idea in my mind, but I know that the pictures I saw weren't what I really wanted.

The estimate was for a 3 Seasons Elite room.

The quote was high, but that might be standard based on the fact that we wanted a 3 season room with electricity.  He said they had other rooms and they could scale it down but that that was on the more expensive side.

I thought their professionalism was very good. They have been in business for over 50 years and all of their products are made here in the United States. That was definitely a plus. 

All went well with no problems. Todd McCrohan and his helper were outstanding. Work proceeded every day, rain or shine. Jared, the electrician, was also outstanding. He worked two days from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm to make sure he did not get in the way of the erecting crew and kept their schedule moving along. All workers were neat and tidy, cleaning up and removing all debris. Communication with the office was excellent at all times due to Anna Laycock's thoroughness and patience.
This sunroom was the third year-round sunroom that I have had Patio Enclosures install for me. Two for myself and one for my daughter. The above comments can apply to all three installations. My daughter's installation took place in January, 2016. The same crew fought cold, wind, snow and ice and the job was still completed on time! How good is that!

Highly professional, excellent workmanship

Good sales rep.  Company kept its promises.  We are very proud of the final product.

It went seamlessly, the work was really good, they were friendly. They cleaned up and the quality of work was excellent. The people in Ohio are wonderful too, it was all around a good experience.

Am happy overall with quality of work and materials but customer service (response times) could be improved.

This is a HORRIBLE company. They are great at overpromising and under delivering. After the general manager sold me on their product, I had to wait approximately 4 weeks for a so-called custom installation. They eventually completed the installation but not according to the design I requested. They had to credit me back some money after I notified them about the mistake.

Recently, the screen, which was supposed to be stronger than pet screen, tore in several places on its own. When they returned to fix the problem, the new installer noticed that the original screen installed on my patio was not the super strong screen, as was promised. They then had to re-order the correct screen and I am still waiting for the installation to be corrected.

This company cannot even stick to their own promised service schedule. I have had to proactively contact them to schedule appointments and then I get promised dates from the general manager that they never adhere to.

The salesman was very thorough and explained the options, materials, pricing, etc.  Work was done as scheduled by two very competent workers, in a timely manner.  Great guys.  We are very satisfied with the room.

they are way overpriced

They are fine. The only thing was that we had some problems with the glass, as it was breaking but they got the problem fixed. They gave me a lifetime warranty on the glass because of this problem. I would consider using them again in the future.

We were happy with the results. I enjoyed the people that were working here. The guys were very good, conscientious, and well humored. I have no complaints. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to a friend.
