Description of Work: We compared 2 or 3 mattresses in Jordan's Sleep Lab and decided on a Sealy Posturepedic King bed with split box springs. This was a firm with Eurotop. Just for info sake want to say that in Europe there is no such thing as a soft top on any bed.The bed was delivered and set up but in the middle of the set up we noticed that one of the box springs was a board foundation not a box spring...the covering matched but it was obvious to everyone that one of the splits was incorrect. When my husband and I slept on it we noticed that our feet were hanging off the end, I'm 5' 11" my husband 5' 10". Prior to this we had been sleeping on a Queen which is 80" length (funny our feet never hit the bottom of our Queen bed) which is what the King is supposed to be...so we measured the King at 78 1/2. We noted in the paperwork that the very small print states that there should be up to a 2" tolerance from the manufacturer...which we take to mean it could be up to 2" shorter or 2" longer!!! ??? Really?? So we are wondering then if the box springs are exactly the same length as the mattress(and they were. they fit perfectly they measured 78 1/2" too) then is that how they are manufactured 1 1/2" shorter?...when their written mattress info states that standard King's length is 80" but there was that small print which suggests your mattress could be smaller or larger by 2" Hmmm?Then there was the mattress itself soft like, not a marshmallow but a bowl of whipped cream!! No support at all and in fact I question if it was the same bed we tried in the Sleep Lab. We had been told that we should give the mattress 30 days before we decided to return it so we could get used to it. We awakened in the middle of the night was such severe back aches...no mattress should do that ever!!! If we had waited we both would have been crippled. We stopped sleeping in the bed and returned to our old bed and got a full nights sleep.
