Once the initial hurdles (building permit, foundation contractor) of building a garage were overcome, Ron Young of Atlantic Shed Co. was contacted and told we were ready for the installation of his product. Ron had worked with me earlier on with the project in providing a quotation for the preferred size and options of the project as well as all the proper paperwork to make the Building Department happy.
On precisely the date that work was to commence, (two weeks after the official 'go-ahead'), it did . The truck with the workers and pre-fabricated garage arrived bright and early as well as the heavy-duty fork truck to lift and locate the walls and roof trusses.
I wish to point out that the workers in this case were a crew of Amish lads with the most positive attitude I've seen in one very long time. On the first day, they worked until 9pm. By noon the second day, the garage was completed. Their business ethic and know-how was completely beyond reproach. Absolutely a delight to watch these young men!
The finished product is absolutely beautiful and is obviously built for the long-run. I could find not a single thing to complain about.
