Irina was professional and very precise on what she could do do for me regarding my window treatments. We have large sliding glass doors in our bedroom and the finished product was exactly what I asked for. We now have a beautiful valance (approx. 13ft long) along with a faux curtain on each end draped perfectly to hide our blinds behind it. She also took my comforter and my dust ruffle and attached/sewed them together so it still looks like a dust ruffle but I don't have to deal with the "tucking" in while making my bed.

When I received them back again they had been machine top-stitched all around with a very narrow hem - as if they were blue jeans! Very unprofessional, and overpriced for the work that was done.

I had one pair of pants hemmed and the hem on another pair was fixed. The price was very reasonable ($15 if I remember correctly) and the work was done in a timely manner. She only accepts cash, which is inconvenient, but luckily the deli next door has an ATM. Their customer service could use some improvement, as the two employees I encountered hardly spoke at all. My attempts at cordiality were not reciprocated and created an uncomfortable atmosphere.

My husband had a spring jacket taken in a few weeks later. When he asked if it was possible the employee went to the back to ask about it. Someone in the back was screaming angrily in another language and the employee came back and said they could do it. The screaming may not have been related to the inquiry, but again, the atmosphere was awkward. The service was performed in a timely manner, however, it was a bit expensive ($56).

Irena was very professional. She was very nice about a dress I brought in that was three times too big and explained the work and cost involved with altering the dress to become three sizes smaller to fit me. I was glad she went over all the costs before she started. She also explained the time frame of exactly when I could pick up my clothes (5 days for the pants hemmed) and that I would have to come in for a fitting on the dress before I could pick that up (5 days for the fitting, 5 more days for the final dress). She spent a lot of time pinning the dress to alter, even though two people were waiting to be measured for their own alterations, and I appreciate that she didnt rush and took all the time she needed to pin it perfectly. The pants and dress came out beautifully. I was impressed she sewed the dress so well that it looked like the dress had always been that smaller size. It was great. Only negative was that she only takes cash, no credit or debit. So I had to go next door to the ATM to take out the $90. But now I know and I would definitely go to her again for all my alteration needs.

I went to Irina's for the first time to get a bridesmaid dress altered. I needed the dress taken in and hemmed up. I also asked them to change the silhouette of the dress from an a-line to more of a mermaid cut. She did such a wonderful job that I've gone back multiple times for all my other alteration needs (e.g., pants hemmed, jacket sleeves taken up, etc.). Prices are pretty average.
