Came across as very professional, his workers complained all day, i ended up using his jack hammer to complete the demolition of our previous concrete pad. He tore up my lawn. After a year the concrete starting cracking and chipping, this was after i always treated the concrete with Ty's recommended product. It took him 4 Months to finally call me back after 2 calls a week that i placed He told me he would come by the following week to fix the cracks and he never did, i called numerous times. I checked with the BBB and he had a very bad rating. I saw him at a Home show in Springfield Mass and he seemed like he was a valid company. The sidewalk that he installed in the front of the house is still great. Not sure why this would be since they poured it the same day as the rest of the project. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone. He also would not give me a Bill or a receipt for the work and needed cash for the project up front and then took a check for the final.. If you use him keep all of your records.

Initially the stamping was done like it should have been. However after a few days cracks developed which was kind of expected. The problem developed when I couldn't get Ty to come back and repair the cracks. He told me on three occasions he would come and fix it. Finally nearly 5 months later after threats of small claims suit somebody came to the house and fixed some of the cracks but not all of them even though they were clearly marked. No one has ever called to follow up. Also, when they were removing some of the old title they damage my garage and never told me about it. Never seen such an unresponsive company or owner, guess the least expensive quote is not always the best.....lesson learned.

Ty came over-very friendly, explained what he would do, (approx 100 ft of sidewalk with a large apron in front of one set of outside steps)-he was going to install 2 underground pipes for the down spouts to enter into so the water would drain further out into the backyard to avoid excess water on the walk. He as also going to regrade a small portion of the backyard for drainage. "Don't worry, I'll take good care of you"-he said-we shook on the deal and off he went. He came back and did the job when he said he would and then the problems started. Not only did he not install the underground pipes the cement is the WRONG color!!. I contacted him, he came out-said we didn't need the under ground pipes, the lady that lived there liked the color (my mother)-tho I'm paying for it-she just lives with us--and as for the drainage they dug up part of the yard threw a little rock down and left a mess. The first winter the sidewalk cracked in a couple of places because they never scored it-and the top is chipping in a number of places. After leaving several messages in the spring-he finally called-said it cracked because of the bad winter and I had a hill where the sidewalk was-lie-he finally came back-said he would score the walk and fix the crack-he came back-scored it-right where it was cracked!! Never fixed the crack and now I have an actual hole there-the walk lifts in the cold weather and the crack is larger and I now have another large crack. I have tried to call him a number of times-but I have never seen him again......never do business with this company. They are terrible!!!!

At the time of this job (November), I was concerned about whether the cooler temperatures would have an adverse effect on the job. Mr Mezzetti assured me "none at all". I told him I was concerned the patio might "crack". Mr Mezzetti guaranteed me that it would not. Numerous times. Guess what? Within a week, it cracked. In seven places!!! He GUARANTEED me it would not crack. I placed numerous calls to Mr Mezzetti. He did not answer. I left numerous messages. Finally he called back, and said he would fill the cracks with sealer. However, he never showed up to do this.
OK. Here comes the really sad part -
Mr Mezzetti was a friend of my daughter. I did not think to have a written contract. I assumed a handshake would suffice.
HUGE MISTAKE!!
My advice would be to stay away from this "concrete specialist".
