L Enos Restorations LLC

You get what you pay for. L Enos Restoration was the highest bid of 3. I went with them and they did an exceelent job. Quality work, excellent communications, done on time and on budget. They are getting the call for my next project.

His proposal ($10,000) did not include plywood sheathing. I found out later from a carpenter that a wood shingle roof does not have sheathing because the wood shingles need to breathe. Mr. Enos should have known that and included sheathing in the proposal. This house is not our residence so when he called in the Spring (May/June) to say the job was done I sent him the final check. Upon visiting the house I saw the ridge had not been finished. It took till September to get him back to finish the job. I will say the roof looks good.



A flashing issue caused a leak. I contacted him and he wanted to get in the house. I ended up fixing the problem. It was not necessary to see inside. The problem was obvious from the exterior.



I also signed an agreement and paid a deposit for him to do some drywall work. His crew did some, but it was taking a while. I asked if he minded if I finished the job myself. He agreed and told me I would receive a credit. For a while we talked about using the credit towards other work. However, we decided against that path.  I'm still waiting for a check.

Thought it took a long time to finish the roof. Looked good for a couple of years and then it began to leak and stain and bow.

They did a great job. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves.

I thought that their knowledge of the roofing techniques were strong, but the carpenter that they used was weak.
