Harbor Homes Building and Remodeling

Good: 1-price was good 2-initial start was prompt 3-most work was satisfactory (mainly electrical) Bad: 1-We were given time frame of 2-3 weeks to complete...turns out they must have been talking about 10-15 days of work, since it took almost 3 months to actually complete work 2-Woodworking was inconsistent...in the middle of installing, they had to buy more trim (they said) but left over 18' of already painted in our basement! 3-Told us about rebates for mini-split HVAC but were slow to provide needed information, and never gave us information for larger rebate of $600 after 3 or 4 trips to their office. The hvac contractor never provided correct model numbers...I had to pull off of delivered units. 4-Unprofessional staff...two men doing woodworking were rude to my wife and yelled at each other. 5-Did not install handrail initially where we told them too so they had to re-install and we had to patch the holes and re-paint over where they put it initially. 6-When they ran electrical lines, had to cut hole in garage wall...their comment was "that's an easy fix for you patch up". 7-After plastering work was done, no floor cover was put down so a lot of water penetrated flooring. Then left over rolls of paper, plaster, and refuse was left. Had to call and ask to have it removed and the guy who came seemed as if he was doing us a favor

The renovation did not go well. Many fixes need to be done. Meeting with the owner and supervisor to discuss over a dozen fixes. More to come a upon the outcome of today's meeting. Today, I'm not very happy with Harbor Homes work.
