FRASER CONSTRUCTION

The workers were professional, clean and polite. The work, at least the finish work was substandard. The trim around the doors was not completely nailed, there were gaps at the mitered corners, and where it met the existing baseboard and chair rail. They were responsive to my concerns and came back and filled it with putty, finished nailing the trim to the doors, it looks ok now. It just doesn't seem like a professional job, more like amateur quality and putty to cover it up. I showed it to a carpenter friend of mine to check if I was being too picky, he said no it was sloppy work. Now the frame around the insect screens is falling off, seems like the plastic channel was cut too short with nothing to hold in place. Like it was done by someone who never installed an Andersen door before. I will figure out something, I won't bother calling them back. Forgot to install the lockset I ordered, they came back and installed. Billed me a higher amount, based on a previous option we selected, needed to sort that out. The doors are installed properly, open and close fine, which is the important thing. Fraser is a big company, I think I just got an inexperienced crew.
