I can't say enough about Whitmore's. We have been customers for their fertilization and aeration service for the past few years when our former contractor retired. He was careful in who he chose to take over his business and we are so glad he chose Whitmore's. Then, when our landscaper moved out of state last year, we called Whitmore's to see if they could take over weekly mowing, trimming and spring/fall cleanup. They were prompt and accurate with their estimate, their prices were in the right range, and their service all year has been spectacular. Like clockwork. The team at Whitmore's, whether in the office or on the job, are friendly, helpful and go the extra mile. We've had questions and they've always returned calls or sent someone to the house directly to talk to us. We have recommended Whitmore's to friends and family and they have thanked us because they've had the same great experience. Nice people, spectacular service, fair pricing and a beautiful yard to play in every week. Couldn't be happier!

Great job. They built the paver walkway in one day, returning some of the sod that had been removed for the walkway and ending with a beautiful, finished appearance. They were hard workers and very respectful.

I had a backyard full of weeds and wanted to have a lawn put in.  The size was pretty substantial 8500 square feet.  I had gotten several quotes from other landscapers all involving various solutions to resolve the issue some more substantial than others all  in the range of 2500 to 5000 dollars. Whitmore's recommended aerating the lawn, spreading compost and seed for a much lower cost than any of the other landscapers.  The results were nothing short of spectacular.  I now have lawn where there was once a patch of weeds. They even came back to reseed an area that did not take well at no expense  to me.
I would highly recommend their service without reservation.

Carey and his team are professional, consistent and caring. They provide all landscaping services including spring clean up, mowing, fertilization, fall clean up and mulch. I have been completely satisfied with their services. Prices are reflective of the high quality and consistency of work. I never have to call and ask for any repeat services. Entire team is well trained and understand their responsibility in maintaining the lawn.

Carey and his crew were professional and respectful. They gave us a timeline of 3-4 days and were done within 3 days. The patio looks beautiful and they left are yard cleaner then when it started. Great job!!!!

The workers arrived at the time promised, and did the work efficiently.

I paid for the entire 2012 season upfront and rexeived a discount for doing so. They showed up and performed necessary fertilizations and other maintenance applications reliably throughout the year. I had given specific instructions regarding areas not be missed and they were done as instructed. Personnel were very pleasent and accommodating.
I sent in a previous review of Whitmore's on a small landscaping project which also was performed flawlessly.

Lawn repair
Owner arrived along with crew and equipment first AM.
dug up areas unsuitable for planting grass and took away.
aerated areas with suitable loam and filled in with new loam where needed.
raked ares and seeded.
cleaned up after themselves and left written instructions for me to follow.
Everyone was personable, efficient and proficient. I have no negatives to report at all.

Routine fertiliztion -
friendly foreman introduced himself and I indicated specific areas of concern.
used machune to fertilize and covered all areas of concern also
used tank sprayer to kill spot weeds across the lawn
used blower to clear driveway
cleaned up and left

We've used them for years and they are very good. They come when they are supposed to and they are reasonable. They have always done a good job.

Cary came out to talk with us about our project and look over the design plan. He made some great suggestions, modifying things like the length of the tread of our steps, how pavers would be installed, and advice on the general work around the property. Because of various scheduling issues, it did take a while to get the job scheduled, but once we did we had a virtual army show up to remove tons of concrete, tear up the walkway, and begin grading the property to take new sod and plants. Over the course of a week, our entire property changed--new walls, walkways, steps, and plants. They did a great job in a challenging small city environment, which they don't normally do!
