About us
New Look Refinishing is a full service Bathtub, Tile and Countertop refinishing company that serves the greater Boston area. We are a local Company (not a franchise), offer free estimates and customer service second to none. New look Refinishing treats each bathtub like it's our own, and are not satisfied until you are. Our Technicians are friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and will get the job done based upon your schedule. In our opinion, no bathtub is beyond our ability to renew. In just a few hours, your bathtub (no matter how worn, rusted, or discolored) can look like new again. We are fully insured and members of the Better Business Bureau, with an A+ rating. Oh yeah, we also answer the phone when you call. We realize that your time is valuable and we don’t rely on voicemail to take your call. You shouldn’t have to hope someone eventually gets back to you. You have a job that needs to be done, and we would like to do it for you, sooner, rather than later. So give us a call, ask some questions, and I’m confident that you will be satisfied.

"Thank you so much for your kind words. All of the employees at New Look always strive to be the highest quality refinishing company that we can be. Satisfied customers like you are our goal each and every day."
"Hello [Member Name Removed], I am extremely disappointed that you were not happy with the repair work that my tech did. When he returned he incorrectly informed me that the repair work came out "great". I have never accepted substandard work from my employees and customer satisfaction is of my utmost concern. I agree that it is a lot of money to spend and I also want it to come out perfect. Our goal is always 100% satisfaction. I would like to come over myself with a different technician to make sure you are happy with the work. Please give me a call to discuss. Mark"
At 8 am that morning, I received a call indicating that the worker would not be able to come that afternoon as scheduled although could make it at 11 am. I was already on my way to the office and unable to make this earlier appointment. When I told the receptionist this, she suggested that I leave a key for the worker. 2 things: 1) I had no way to leave the key as I was more than an hour away from home; 2) I would never just leave my house key for someone I do not know. After several calls back-and-forth, the appointment was rescheduled for Friday afternoon.
On Friday afternoon the worker arrived on time. He completed the job in 2 hours. After he left, my husband and I noticed several things: 1) It seems as if he might have just sprayed the new surface over the old. Our understanding was that the tub would be completely stripped and redone; 2) There was what appeared to be bathtub paint on the bathroom wall! This was quite noticeable as the walls are dark brown and the paint is bright white. The bath towel was hung in such a way to cover this paint splotch; 3) There was also paint on our wood floors (in 2 rooms). While I can see how he might has gotten paint on the hallway floors, I can't figure out why the paint was also in the living room.I called today to let the company know about the paint splotches. They offered to come to the house this afternoon to repaint the bathroom wall. A nice offer, but: 1) I would have (again!) had to leave work early to meet the worker; 2) We don't have extra brown paint to match; 3) We have had enough of this company.
