Chuck was hired to remove a tree by neighbor and we requested work while he was on site- which lead to a less expensive quote.
He came on the day designated, right on time and began work next door, then proceeded to our work.
I mainly wanted dead branches removed from many tall pine trees around our driveway and garage. I heard him working and stayed inside so not to be in danger of falling branches. Once he got the chainsaw going (in his aerial bucket) he went to work and pruned more thoroughly than I had had in mind.
We talked easily about that misunderstanding later and I realized the mistake was as much mine for using the word and quot;pruning,and quot; instead of just saying dead branch removal, and his mistake for not questioning more.
However, he did a good job, his crew worked steadily and efficiently, cleaned up well; the price was $800 instead of the $900 quote because the time was less.
I will probably use him again, since the winter usually results in downed trees along the narrow road to our property.
