We chose Joshua Spangenberg Electric after interviewing and requesting bids from 7 contractors. Though his bid was not the lowest we received, his knowledge and thoroughness of old wiring systems, code compliance and job site evaluation were beyond compare. The work involved removing knob & tube wiring in a 120 yr old property, Joshua's walk-through of the job site was very comprehensive- he was the only one that ventured into the old attic and the only one to remove the panel cover to see what he would be dealing with! Throughout the project, Joshua and his assistant, Tim were professional and courteous in our dealings. They were very mindful to respond to our questions and were excellent at communicating with us in-person and electronically. Not only did he take my call late in the day on his way home, but he also used that as a teaching opportunity to show me how to better protect my home and electrical appliances.
