ASPHALT ADVANTAGE

The key to a good driveway is making sure you excavate deep enough and apply layers of sufficient thickness. The bid Asphalt Advantage provided me with was the depth/thickness I was looking for at the price I was looking for. What I received was much less. Even though I kept my vehicles off the driveway for the prescribed cure time, in a matter of a few weeks I had tire divots in the asphalt from the weight of my vehicles. I had a company come and drill core samples of the driveway and when the layers of material were measured, they were much thinner than what was bid. I can only park in the area of the driveway close to the street without making further divots. Bid stated: 8 - 10 inches of t-base gravel 2.5 inches of 3/4 base coat 2 inches of 3/8 top coat Core sample (thinnest one) measured: 3 inches from dirt to top (see photo)

From the initial contact until the job was finished Louie was terrific. He was professional, available and performed as agreed despite power outages and equipment problems. He even adapted to fix an area we had not discussed. There was a sink hole which was fixed without any big issue. I strongly recommend Asphalt Advantage.

I feel this company listened to my wants and concerns and was a pleasure to work with. This was not an inexpensive project considering all the work and material that was used.  The driveway looks wonderful and and a great deal of prep work was done to make this a quality drive way at a fair price that should last a long time. The total job took 3 days and was done for the quoted price.

Exttremely well. They showed up on time with all the people and equipment needed to do the 2 day job. They were very responsive to my needs and checked questionable areas with me before beginning and throughout the job. If anything they "overdid" the thicknesses promised. I have been wanting to do this drive for a long time and couldn't be happier with the finished product. To me this is a five star company. They were slightly high mid range on price (I got 5 estimates) but left me with a 3 year warranty which no one else offered. In short from my view HIGHLY RECCOMENDED.
