Best decision I ever made. Got a number of quotes from other highly rated contractors. Most everyone could start in 2-4 weeks. Ted's was already booked up for the summer and into the fall. The quote was not as detailed as some others, but there were zero surprises and the final cost was *exactly* what was quoted (which also ended up being the cheapest). But for us, cost was not a factor in selecting Teds -- my wife and I got a really good feeling every time we spoke with TJ. He was always very reassuring and happy to do exactly what we wanted. We really liked having the owner of a local company onsite everyday actually doing the work. What impressed us the most was TJ remembered every single detail that we verbally communicated (but did not put in writing) and did exactly as we had asked. After 4 weeks when they were done, there was not a single thing we had to follow-up on or ask him to change/finish, etc. Could not imagine anyone being more straightforward and honest. I consider myself a picky customer and there is always something that bothers me or I feel just isn't perfect. I was shocked to find I could not find a single fault or problem with any of the work they did. Like I said, best decision I ever made.

This was an excellent project from start to finish. The final price was exactly what the quote said it would be. The work was started on the exact date promised and the 3-4 week estimate turned out to be 3 weeks. Very professional and the house looks amazing. I would highly recommend this company and plan to use them again for future projects.

TJ has done several jobs for us. The biggest job was putting Hardy Board siding on our 200 year old house. He also replaced 7 of our windows. He did a great job and we would use him again.
