The guy showed up yesterday and gave me a quote of $600 to chip and remove the 4 large piles of brush I had created after cutting down a bunch of trees in a wooded lot. Later I called him to get an address to put on a one page agreement I was putting together, all he had was a P.O. Box and said the payment had to be cash. He showed up this morning with his chipper and a couple of workers. I asked where the truck was to shoot the chips into to remove them. He said that was never part of the job, that it would be extra, and that he didn't have the time to go get it. I wasn't happy, but wanted to get brush chipped, so I reluctantly agreed to let him shoot the chips on the ground. Before he started the work I wanted him to sign the agreement I crafted and he informed me that the $600 price in the agreement wasn't for the job, but a per day rate and that I needed to change the agreement. I told him that wasn't what we agreed to, so he left.
