My experience with Joe and MVP Contracting started off well. I was interested in getting a patio installed and, eventually, a shed to go next to the patio. They said that they could do both jobs and gave me a good price for the patio. After a couple of missed appointments (that I arranged to work from home for), the patio was finally installed. I liked the work on the patio and saved up some money for the shed. A couple of months later, I called to put in the shed order. MVP placed the order for the shed with a vendor that they liked and had confidence in. They told me that it would take 4 to 6 weeks for the shed to be ready for delivery (fair enough). What has followed has been four months of chasing this project with very little communication from MVP. They tried to deliver the original shed that I had ordered on a day that I said that I could not receive it (as someone was moving next door to me). I was greeted at the door that day by a delivery guy who said that he was supposed to have been met by Joe at the end of my street so that the shed could be delivered to my home. I called MVP immediately only to find that all of their voicemail boxes were full. About a week later, I finally got back in touch with MVP and was told that the shed did not work out with this vendor but that they would use a different one that didn't take as long and could deliver the shed down my street. It has now been two months since the initial shed delivery did not work out (and four months since I placed the original shed order). I still have no shed and MVP has a 15% deposit of my money. I am writing this review in hope that I don't have to escalate this situation further. I've been extremely patient this whole time and received very little understanding. I am left with vague promises of "we'll get back to you" and a very bad taste in my mouth. I would not hire this contractor for residential work.
