We used cool air for a whole house new HVAC system. At first they were very good-showed up on time, quality work, answered questions efficiently. When the heat broke on the new system, they attempted a fix and assured us they would be checking on it the next few days. They unfortunately did not follow through and someone coming to the house for another reason found it broke again. They replaced the whole unit. When there was another issue with the thermometer it took 3 visits to fix this and they had multiple incorrect diagnoses for the issue. We also failed an inspection and delayed our move in because they never pulled a permit to move a gas line. Their excuse: they were just trying to keep our project moving and assumed someone else would do it! They also hacked the floors up to place the vents and complained about this saying they assumed we were not saving the hardwood floors! Took another 3 visits to come out to fix this. We were promised a discussion with the owner and despite multiple phone calls, emails, visits over 2 months later he never contacted us. Would NOT recommend this company.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! The ONLY reason I chose Coolair is because I was friends with of the owners. All of the following is documented with photos, emails and texts. A few months after Coolair installed the new unit, I went to change the air filter and was surprised that I couldn't find one. I called and asked Coolair where it was over the phone and determined that it was never installed. THE INSTALLER NEVER PUT IN AN AIR FILTER! This was negligence on their part. I asked them to send someone out right away to put in the filter and no one ever showed. I eventually replaced it myself. BUT THE COILS WERE ALREADY IMPACTED! I emailed pictures to Coolair to show them. I should have made them replace everything back then. Over the next 3 years, I had Coolair come and service the unit twice out of concern that the poor installation would have a long-term effect on the unit... and it did. The unit Coolair installed only lasted a little over 3 years. After talking to one of the owners, she informed me that because I did not sign up for their yearly maintenance program, there was nothing they could do. I WAS SHOCKED. I thought for-sure they would stand by their installation and product. NOPE! Coolair then charged me almost $700 to install a fan that had burnt out also due to the poor installation. Not wanting to argue, I paid Coolair. I waited over a week in 90+ degree weather with 3 kids and a dog for the fan to arrive. As they were installing the new fan, the installers told me the fan would not work because now because the compressor is also burnt out and that would cost me almost another $2000 to replace and would take another week! I then contacted one of the owners and respectfully expressed my frustration with the entire situation. She said it was my fault for not cleaning the unit with Coolair services and that the fan and compressor burnt out because I should have used them. Coolair finally told me that they would NOT finish the job even if I paid them. That no matter what they did I would not be happy. Even with a signed contract, they walked off the job leaving me and my family with no AC in JUNE. She said “Find another AC company to finish the job”. I DO NOT RECOMMEND using Coolair. I have no idea how they have any good ratings but I suggest you check out their 2 out 5 stars on Yelp.

We're an ongoing customer, every year. They're very good, honest and efficient. We've been using them for many years. They clean our furnace every year, they come in and repair it if we need it. They maintain our air conditioners, they come in and clean those every year. We've been doing business for a long time.

They started Tuesday and they finished yesterday. They were excellent. It was a lot of work. I couldn't believe how much work it was. I thought the price was pretty good. I am supposed to get rebates back so we haven't completed that transaction yet. They were very good. When he couldn't make it Monday, he called me. So I consider that ok. They were really punctual. I hope I don't have to have another air conditioner put in but I might use them for maintenance. They were really excellent. I would recommend them to anyone. The quote we got from them was comparable to everybody else.

Bill's been our go-to HVAC guy since our a/c crapped out in 2015 during a heat wave. He was the only one of the numerous companies we called who called us back. He came same day (on a weekend) and didn't overcharge. He again came out to service our furnace. After seeing our aging tank hot water heater, he gently suggested it be replaced so as not to risk flooding our newly finished basement. (I should note he didn't even push that THEY replace it - just more of a 'you need to get this on your to-do list'. Bill suggested going with a tankless which would save on energy bills & after rebates, only cost about $200 more than a tank style. We had it done in 1-2016. His crew was great & very efficient. We've been really pleased!

The work went very well and after a winter of using the system, the savings are in line with what we expected. Bill is very knowledgeable and had great ideas for implementing our new system.  His staff was also patient in helping work through all of the rebates and incentives.  Additionally, when there was a minor issue of a drain pipe freezing on the first really cold night, his crew was at the house within a few hours worked well into the night to temporarily fix the issue and returned first thing the next morning to to install a permanent solution - all without an additional bill.  I also greatly appreciated the fact that Cool Air is one of the very few contractors that does not charge a premium for providing service in a larger house in a wealthier town.

I have had CoolAir for several years for furnace and AC and have always been pleased with their service. Replacing a furnace however is a huge task especially when the furnace is confined in a small space right of your living quarters and weather is still on the cool side. This team of guys never stopped for a break, constantly working into the evening to make sure that they finished it. Highly recommend!

Our heater broke just days before we were going out of town.  Cool Air responded right away and explained the situation.  They installed a new heater promptly and in time for us to go out of town.  The owner came out and made sure everything was in good order.  I can tell a big difference now with the new heater and I'm glad we had it installed in time for this very cold winter.  They seemed very trustworthy and I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

Excellent service, have used cool air service many times and always get a prompt answer when I have called. In this case my water heater started leaking and they came out  promptly to replace it. I have a hot air furnace and central air and  always use cool air anytime I need routine maintenance or have any furnace or air conditioning problems

The crew that came in were very punctual and professional. I was working from home and also 9 months pregnant and they were very courteous of their noise level during a conference call I had to take. They were also very clean.

Bill is a quality professional. He knows his business. I am truly pleased that he was able to get my attic heater working again (new ignitor was needed). I look forward to his quote for replacing my old heater and working with him in the future. Bill is a personable guy and you know that he and his company will be there for you when you need him.

Labor provided and materials with product provided went very well. Installation was neat and workmanlike, with experienced staff workers of the trade, Clean up and start up went well and was very good proof of their installation work and testing of unit. Existing furnace debris from removal work was carted off from home by installation workers. Would offer recommendation to neighbors for quality of workmanship and service follow up after warm air handling unit/furnace put into service. Utility rebate paper work for credits to project price were completed by contractor and mailed to natural gas utility service by the homeowner..
