The installation was done way too fast. Then after the countertops were installed, I noticed they were bowed and not level. The main L shaped countertop was 3/4 inch higher on one side. And, the island countertop was bowed in the middle by 1/2 inch. When I looked under the countertop I realized that Jim Snyder had hastily not added any substrate under the 1/2 in thick material, but he had simply ripped 3in wide strips of particle board and glued them on in a few areas.
After a few apologetic emails he stated he couldn't get there to remove the counters, that I should replace them, and he'd reimburse me for the amount he had charged to my credit card.
I had another countertop installed, and sent him the invoice with the plumbers charge to remove and reinstall the sink, and faucet and disposal.
Now its October, six months later, and he's still saying that he's trying to get reimbursed from his supplier Dupont, before he reimburses me. I'm tired of waiting! This guy is a real lousy installer and no one should purchase countertops from Nutop.
