SDB Construction and Design

RUN as fast as you can. Scott will quote you one price but this means nothing as he will suggest work to do or change, then present a bill to you. He also has control issues, he wants the work design done his way and will become argumentative with you about how your wrong. He was later able to admit that my design was nice and looked good. He made several racist remarks and when confronted was adamant that he is not a racist and did not mean any disrespect. He was also very rude to my mother and aunt and commented that they were “pushing his buttons” and then he started throwing items out the window and slamming doors. He would then point out other flaws from work that he did not complete in the home since we were pointing out his flaws or asking to do it over. He did not come on time, left early with no warning leaving family in the house waiting for him to return to be told an emergency came up and can’t return (after calls and texts asking where are you) or not show up at all. His response was that he was not use to working like this and needs a key so he can come at anytime and do the work. And by the way, installing a tub and tiling the tub area took over 5 weeks. He did not clean after himself and did not have items to protect the floors while working and refused to patch up holes although he eventually did repair the holes. The worst was that he would not let my 4 year old nephew use the bathroom as he was busy, asked for bus fare to get home and a ride to buy lunch and me picking up my materials.
