This was not a difficult task but the work had be synchronized with the granite installer.
Horvitz accommodated my schedule and did the work exactly on time so that my time without kitchen sink was minimized.

They are very professional.  I have been using them for years and they are my go to plumbers for all jobs large and small.

My toilet was running continuously so I called and asked them to come to fix the mechanism. Doug asked me for information about the brand name, how old it was, and sent a technician over.  When he arrived and saw the toilet, he said that the manufacturer doesn't make that that model nor replacement parts any more.  I called back and spoke to Doug and he suggested that I go to two showrooms in the area to look at replacement model options.  After I selected one, Horvitz picked it up, installed it, and everything has gone very smoothly.  Doug was very professional and helpful throughout.
About a month later, a sink in the basement filled with water.  I called Horvitz and Doug told me that I didn't need a plumber, I needed someone to clean the main drain to the house.  I was impressed that he immediately diagnosed the problem and referred me to the type of service provider that I needed without sending someone over and charging me for a visit that I didn't need.

As always, very good communication from beginning to end.
Informed me of options before starting.  Once started changed opinion of things (to a less expensive route) and did the job.  Valve works great now.
Gas leak found quickly and tightened up easily.
I've used Horvitz many times with great results.

Well I liked the reviews they got. When I called they had the stuff together and the person handled me called initially and focused doing on what my particular problem and I was asking him lots of questions so that at the time he was dispatching a plumber, plumber already had all the information brought all the tools and supplies and even the garbage disposal that would exactly match my needs and fit into the pipes that already had existing so the plumber was able to realize and do the work. I thought it was really a good level of customer service and just not saying just oh what is your name, what time should somebody to see you but actually figuring out what the problem was so that they could arrive and take care of the problem. I would use them again.

We remodeled the kitchen and needed pipes redirected for a new position of appliances. This was done well and promptly. However, he did notice that our heater flue was not in good repair and let the town inspector know which prompted a letter from the town requiring us to repair. Ultimately, we hired another plumber to repair this and things got complicated because the old flue was not in-code with the wrong up-slope of the flue pipes requiring a new entrance to the chimney, hole in the wall, etc.
We were satisfied with the technical work performed by Horvitz but not satisfied with the mode of communication. In my opinion he should not have been inspecting parts of the house that he was not hired to fix. In addition, he could have let us know first to give us a chance to repair before notifying the town. Not a friendly way to do business.

The employee arrived by 9:40 AM.  Spent a long time on the phone with the warrantee company, ensuring that the repair would be covered.  He then cheerfully and quickly set about the installation, explaining both the process and the strengths of the unit (a nice upgrade from my 10 year old unti).  He was finished by 10:30 AM, he left the kitchen clean, and overall it was a great experience.  I would certainly use them again.

We have been using this company for many years, both for personal plumbing issues and for the condo association we are a part of.  Everyone we have ever delt with in Horvitz Plumbing has been very professional and pleasant.  It's easy to set up appointments, the technicians are always on time and the work performed is well done and honest.  From what we've heard, you can find cheaper plumbing service, but we don't plan on changing our allegiance any time soon.

The best thing about Horvitz is the guy on the phone who reviews your problem ahead of time to be sure the attending plumber will have all the info he needs to do the job.  When the plumber arrived, he already had all the right parts and replaced the disposal in less than 30 minutes.  Very professional.

They are excellent. I would use them again in the future.

Setting up the appointment went well.  The company returned my call within a day and once I decided to proceed with the work, they were able to come to the house within 2 days.  The job was completed without any disruption and with little attention from me.  The plumber Jim was very professional and diagnosed the problem quickly.  Once I gave him the go-ahead to install the shock absorber, he had to go out to purchase the parts.  It would have been helpful and cheaper for me if he had stocked those basic parts on his truck, since I had to pay for the time it took to go get them.  Horvitz charges $99 for the 1st hour and after that they charge in 1/2 hour increments.  Once the parts were in hand, the work was completed promptly, neatly and well.  We've heard no noise from the pipes since, so we're pleased!

They are fantastic!  The response is quick and everything is explained clearly. Work is completed efficiently and neatly.
