Folan Contracting & Improvement

This was the sixth job Seamus helped me with, and he did not disappoint. I needed him to help paint and do some drywall install/finish carpentry to get a newly purchased investment unit rented out. After we closed, he and his crew worked fast, and the place was rented in under a week after listing. It looked great after they finished. Since he was about to start another job, he worked late into the night and on weekends to get our job done on time. Seamus is a true detail-oriented professional. He left the place neat and clean and even cleaned under the refrigerator (which the prior owners had never done - ick). His pricing is fair, and he will tell me if he thinks something doesn't need to be done. In the past he did a roof replacement/attic drywalling at one of our properties and carpentry/new tile backsplash in a kitchen at another property. We are very happy with his work and plan to have him do work at all of our properties in the future.

Seamus replaced all of our windows and did a beautiful job. He touched up all the paint around the windows making our house shine. He also replaced the molding around our bathroom window allowing in more light and making the area water resistant. We plan to hire him again in the near future for other improvement projects and painting.

Seamus was excellent. He examined the roof, saw the compromised area, and repaired where needed. I will definitely keep his number handy for future work!

Seamus was great. Called me back. Turned around an estimate and completed the work within a week. This was a small job and it was difficult to find someone to do it -until I called Seamus. Would definitely recommend as well as hire again.

They were very professional, friendly, courteous, very gregarious.  The company owner, Seamus Folan, he was like he became a friend within 10 minutes.  He did everything.  He and a couple of his workers did everything.  They went up on the roof.  They figured out, estimated the job.  They charged exactly what they estimate.  They did a great job.   One day and it was done.  I found a couple little pieces of roofing in my yard.  You would have had to have a microscope to find them.  They cleaned up.  No complaints whatsoever.  He's such nice guy he deserves more people to take him because he did such great work.  There were 2 or 3 people in the crew. I think I found them on Angie's List.

Seamus is a busy guy so had to book this in November 2014 to this big job in July-August 2015. Once he came he never left till the job was done. A huge job, stripped old shingles off. He picked the best type of shingles for this house.  Then painted , we have 4 colors. he fixed all the molding and then put the porch back together replacing many boards and structures. 
He is completely honest. He is very fairly priced. He does his own work and when he has a helper they are hand picked and hand trained. He cleans up after. 
You really can't do better.

He did an excellent job. He did most of it himself and ended up doing many extra things along the way. He is very considerate and attentive to detail.

The contractor promptly quoted a competitive price. Upon acceptance, he showed up when he said he would; did what he said he would; for the price that he said it would cost. The repair, which required acquiring old slate that matched the existing slate, was expertly performed. He and his crew were professional and pleasant to deal with. Can't ask for anything more from a contractor.
