Stan's Appliance Repair Service

The service was prompt and the repair worked for about a week. The problem returned and Stan had moved to Florida. We received no response to numerous phone calls and an email. So much for the one year service warranty

The initial response was fantastic. Stan identified the problem and ordered the part which he installed the following week. When he finished, he told us that the work was guaranteed for a year and that any callback within 90 days would be free. We were really pleased and impressed. The refrigerator worked for 4-5 weeks before the original problem returned. I called the local number repeatedly but got a "mailbox is full" message for approximately two weeks. I kept trying and eventually was able to leave a message. There was no response. I tried Stan's website and discovered that in that short period he had moved the business to Florida. I sent an email and also left a message at the Florida number, but received no response. It seems obvious to me that he knew he was moving when he did our work yet he never mentioned it. It also appears that the part he replaced was not the cause of the problem. We spent close to $400 for the repair and are very disappointed with the final result.
