The vet was excellent. She was caring and she knew what she was doing. Their prices were very reasonable. Their professional and punctuality were excellent. I highly recommend them.

The prices are very good. They have an excellent manner with the animals and treat the animals very kindly. I reccomend Dr. Niece.

Dr. Neese and her staff are very compassionate and caring besides beingl professionally expert. An example is the fact that the she and the staff rehabilitated and cared for our newest rescue-dog for 2 1/2 months, with no expectation of remuneration, after Animal Welfare removed the dog from her previous owners who had either abused her or been grossly negligent in allowing her to be badly burned. Dr. Neese felt that the dog had a chance, and thus she and the Dennis Animal Hospital staff performed surgery on her, rehabilitated her, and boarded her as she recovered. When we heard the story, we asked to adopt the little dog, and Dr. Neese refused to accept an adoption-fee nor charges for the surgery or spaying. Four months later, our dog is healthy and happy. We feel that the Dennis Animal Hospital is a very special place!

Our senior dog had acute pain and we were pretty familiar with the drill. The need to rule out breaks and obtain the proper medication prompted us to look for care. We had gone to a vet on cape in previous summers, but I was not entirely comfortable with the "supermarket" or big store approach. I always felt that we were there for a specific reason but were asked to consider all kinds of extras in our quest for answers. This experience was so personal. We felt that the visit was personal and that we walked away with some answers.

The vet (Dr. Allison Neese) and the staff have been wonderful. Her kindness, competence and true affection for her patients are clearly suffused in her work. She worked with us to keep costs down at our request. This includes us doing some of the nursing that he might have needed to stay in the hospital for, were we not able to learn to do the tasks. She went out of her way to get unusual supplies and medications that the cat required in his treatment. She did a late evening surgery, then stayed with him until he was completely awake from the meds. Her bedside manner with the human family is also excellent. She spends as much time with the patient and family as they need. Sometimes that means waiting, now that our cats needs aren't urgent. I see this as a bonus. He was admitted 10/12 and discharged 10/15. His care is ongoing (10/22).
