DeMayo and Associates

We were not happy with this licensed contractor/handyman and would not hire again. We were given a quote and then at the end of the job, the invoice was much higher. We told him we agreed to pay the quote, he never told us the prices would be higher, never told us he would change to an hourly charge at his discretion, never told us what the hourly charge would be. We were very accessible and he could have talked to us at anytime. He just did the job and handed us the bill. He got nasty and called us cheap when refused to pay the higher prices. He told us the bathroom ceiling that he painted was going to peel in the future. So much for helping us. He started the job by doing the power washing and it seemed to be going well, so we gave him a key to the house to complete the other jobs. That is when things went downhill. If I could give one piece of advice to homeowners, always be on the premises when work is being done, no matter what it is! We will never deviate from this principle again!!
