Their profile indicates that they do exterior painting on "all types of houses and buildings". Though his initial response by email was quick, it took him almost two weeks to actually call us to discuss or schedule the job. Then, when he did call, he said he would not take any jobs on houses built before 1979, because of possible lead paint underneath. Given that the vast majority of houses in our area were built before 1979, and that we were willing to use the time we purchased for any extra prep work that was necessary, it was disappointing that he would not do the work. It seems like potential customers should have been notified of this restriction before buying the deal.

We were very pleased with the quick response and excellent workmanship.  The crew, once starting the job completed it in a timely manner without splitting their time between us and other customers.  They were very professional as well as personable, and their work was meticulous.  They cleaned up and put away all their equipment at the end of each day.  We would definitely hire them again in the future.

Scott was prompt and responsive. His crew was excellent, very personable and friendly, easy to have in the house. They were very experienced and did careful, excellent work. Reasonably priced. Especially considered quality of work.

We accepted Scott Salzman's estimate in late September but had to wait until late November because (1) it was a very rainy autumn, and (2) we were including some carpentry that took a long time to schedule. The painters were extremely skillful and friendly. They consulted with us frequently and were attentive to every detail, including some extra work that we requested during the painting process.  I marked the company down a little on responsiveness only because I would have liked a little more communication during the time when weather was delaying the work. But that is a small matter, and the quality of the work makes up for any inconvenience. Although the price seemed high, it is worth it to have such high quality. I should also mention that, before they painted, they spent another day power washing the entire house, because there was mold and mildew that needed to be removed.
