clock repair
 + -1 moreI called the Clock Doc and explained the problem. He came to the house the SAME day. He suspects a unit will have to be replaced as it is old, but made some repairs that he thought MIGHT work. It is now two months and the temporary repairs are holding up fine, I have had no further trouble. It took him close to two hours but he felt he had taken care of the problems at least for the present. It keeps perfect time and the chimes work fine. I still have to wind the chains once a week. I expect a more expensive repair will eventually have to be done, but for the present everything is satisfactory.
Description of Work: My Grandfather clock stopped and I could not restart it.
