SUPREME CABINETS INC

This entire project was meant to create a robust library with shelves on all 4 walls of the room. Unbeknownst to us the cabinet maker ( Tony Petruzziello ) and his staff used low quality standard machine made shelves which he also uses to produce almost 'factory made' kitchen cabinets. The shelves were of much lesser quality than a real bookshelves requires, so too thin, easy to bend. When the shelves were installed, they started to bend everywhere, which should have been foreseen by Petruzziello since the weight of books is considerable. Additionally the sidewalls of the shelves also started to bend outward, so badly.that we could not place any books on shelves without risking the whole thing to collapse. Apparently this cabinet maker has no clue about normal 'physics'. In the end I had to suggest to him to place wooden strips underneath each shelf to create a 'stiff box' type of patch of this problem, so weight gets distributed better in all directions and the bending was resolved that way. It took quite a while though before all was fixed. Had to hound the owner f cabinet maker Supreme Cabinets, constantly to fix it, before he finally did. He was hard to reach and often woudl not communicate.

We wanted to update our kitchen without totally replacing everything like the cabinets and this was a great solution. They really did a good job and I love the attention they gave me. They acted like I was the only customer they had at the time and I know I wasn't.
