I would highly recommend, without reservation, San Marino. Everything went smoothly, all appointments were on schedule, and the quality of the work was outstanding. The price was reasonable and every detail was attended to. I could not be happier with their service.

apparently these people don't know how to use the telephone.  They gave me an estimate, I called them to schedule a date for the work, they never called back.

Our backyard needed a new retaining wall and patio... at least, we were hopeful we could afford to include a new patio in the scope of the work. We were referred to San Marino by a good neighbor, and the San Marino representative that came out to give us an estimate was on time and very nice, very professional. The pricing he quoted us was well outside out budget for both projects.

Our asphalt paving service referred us to Four Seasons landscaping, which was far more affordable, so much in fact that we could get the new patio done in conjunction with the retaining wall. We were skeptical and thought the pricing was too good to be true. We asked the Four Seasons rep why their company costs so much less, and he acknowledged the difference, explaining that he and San Marino started in business around the same time, and the San Marino company just got really big so they can command big prices. Four Seasons' niche business is home landscaping, and they occasionally do a big commercial project. What's more, the San Marino owners hire his company for their landscaping projects.

So, there you have it. Both are very good companies, but we are super happy with the job done by Four Seasons. We wish everyone well with their projects.

They mow and trim the lawn at rental property on a regular basis.  We have been using them since July of 2013.  If we need special services we call and they take care of it.  Easy to work with.

They were positive. They did a good job with the landscaping.

They are very efficient and do good work. The price for lawn mowing is good, but pricey for snow removal. They're easy to work with and we'd recommend them to anyone.

They were a sub-contractor for our landscape architect (who is excellent). We were doing a major landscape rework, which included a lot of plantings new lawn etc.. They sent a crew of three, of which only one person worked. A 2 day project turned into 4+ days. They had a person drive a small dump truck, who couldn't drive, and drove three times into a stone retaining wall in our driveway, and ultimately drove over the retaining wall, which resulted in the dump truck hanging over the wall. Once the truck got off of the wall, they pulled it up to the top of our driveway, let it idle for over a half hour with a fluid leak that leaked on the asphalt driveway, and softened the asphalt to a point where tires left a mark.

He came to my house and I was expecting an estimate.  I called him three times and on the third call he said he couldn't do the work.

The lawn looks uniform, without wheel marks or missed lines.  Good care was taken to trim areas that the mower could not, such as tight corners, near trees, etc.  No bunches of clippings lying about, either.

They were great. It was fine. They did our rental property. They came and cut our grass and then they go. I never see them. They just showed up and they did what they're supposed to do. The price was reasonable.

They called back relatively quickly, and we scheduled a time to meet.  They were slightly late for the estimate, but were perfectly courteous when we discussed the project.  The person from San Marino said to give him a week for the estimate, but I have not yet heard back despite several messages that left at their main office number.  Not sure if they're too busy with other work or if the project is beyond the scope of what they can do, but the lack of communication on their end is disappointing.

The company called me back and came to look at the work on the same day.  The owner was very professional and knowledgeable and completed all the work within the timeframe that they promissed. I purchased one tree and at least 15 different plants, bushes and shrubs  and was told by the company that they would pick up and deliver everything for me for a small fee.  I was grateful for their imput and very impressed with the final product.

They came out the same day they gave me an estimate. Within a couple days they finished the job and they even mowed my lawn for free! When they say they are going to do something they're going to do it. I would highly recommend them.
