My experience was excellent. It was a one man show. He was amazing, he was excellent.

Found him through Angie's List because I was looking for a local company and he had a good review. So I called him and was so glad I did. He matches the very definition of professional and trustworthy and it was a pleasure working with him. He was also interesting to talk to and had a wide range of knowledge about his field.
I had tried to replace 2 deadbolts myself with ones I bought at Home Depot because I thought I would save money that way. Should have just called him to begin with because he could have just rekeyed them instead of replacing them. But after I got what I thought were identical replacements to the deadbolts I had, I found that inside the components were slightly larger so I had to drill out the space, for which I did not have the right tools. I ended up trying to hammer it into the door, but then when I tried it it did not work correctly. So when he came it took him quite awhile just to get the thing out of the door without damaging it, so that he could make the space bigger so it would work properly. So even though I had successfully replaced a couple of locks myself a few years ago, deadbolts are a bit trickier.
He arrived punctually and spent almost 3 hours there, and so for the price I paid I felt I got a bargain. Since I had already bought the deadbolts at Home Depot, he used those but said that he preferred another brand which he would have warrantied. However since I had already bought them, I decided to just use those anyway in spite of the fact that he did not know if they were as reliable as the brand he usually used. He used a drop cloth to catch the wood filings which had to be drilled out and was conscientious about being clean.
