The "Master Designer" showed up the next day more than half an hour later, without bothering to call. He seemed nice enough, but had come without his "material". Therefore, he could not give me the promised quote. I showed him the windows that needed to be replaced and asked for at least an idea how much the project would cost. However, he insisted that we would have to reschedule an appointment where he would bring all his material and measure all the windows. He refused to give me any idea how much the company might charge for such a project. I spend more time on this than on other estimates where I ended up getting a quote. It seems their whole process is designed so that you invest a lot of time before you actually get a quote - since after spending a lot of time on something, people are more likely to say yes.
