I've worked with Vespa several times, most recently when we purchased a new home with knob and tube wiring. Vespa completely rewired the house, added outlets and installed new light fixtures. They then worked with us on a kitchen remodel, and helped us refine the scope to work within our budget, while meeting our needs and of course code. The whole team at Vespa is friendly, professional, prompt, knowledgeable and happy to offer solutions. I recommend them in the highest possible terms.

This was a phenomenal transaction. Called in the morning, John came over after verifying my phone number. He was transparent in pricing, easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and repaired my circuit breakers in a professional manner, quickly and tested everything thoroughly. I would wholeheartedly recommend John Vespa Electrical and will use them the next time I have any issues!

They did a good job. He arrived at 9:10am for an 8:30am appointment and worked until 11:30 and then cleaned up. At 11:45am, he wrote up the bill charging me for a half day (4 hours), though he only worked for less than 3 hours. I told him I would pay that if he did 1 more hour of work but he said he had another job to go to, and decreased the bill to charge for 3 hours. We called 2 weeks later to get another job done and they told us that did not want to work with us because we did not pay what they asked. I won't call them again.

"This was a continuing part of a job that we started it was to come back to install the finish electrical work . When the bill was given to them , they took out a calculator & asked the electrician how much we charge by the hour . We told them this was a billed out by the job a specific amount that was allotted to the Labor as it was estimated as a half day after some back & forth the electrician called in & explained the situation to me , i told him to discount the bill to resolve the issue & even after that they were still not content even though they got a lot of work done in the 1/2 day allotted time , they still questioned wether the bill was correct , we told her then that we had been more than generous with the discount , she then reluctantly paid the bill . So when they called in for us to do more work we respectfully declined ."

John quickly responded to our request for a quote and visited our house the next day. He assessed the Electrical Panel and our list of issues point by point. He was able to address all of our needs on the spot and provide a clear explanation for everything that needed to be done and what was not necessary. All of this was done quickly and for a very reasonable price. We would definitely use his services again.

Vespa was wonderful. They are a family business of father, three sons, and mother who does the administration. All of the family members are very professional, hard-working, and easy to work with. This was a very challenging job at a large, 1865 house, but they did the work with minimum impact on all the moldings and woodwork by being very creative about snaking wires around. I had a couple of other bids and even though this was a costly job, Vespa was competitive. The wiring has now been approved by the town inspector, and we are pleased that this very time-consuming job is behind us. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I called with a problem that i thought i had, but was wrong ( hopefully a senior moment). What they discovered was a problem with a kitchen fixture which needed the wiring to be repaired and a new box.They also replaced two switches that I wanted to replace. Everything went fine and cleaned up and I was very satisfied.

The sprinkler system in our condos was being checked and they inspectors noted that my smoke detectors were more than 10 years old and needed to be replaced (2 smoke, 4 combo and 1 heat). I got a quote from another company that I thought was high so I called John Vespa to get another quote. Finola answered the call and was wonderful. She took down the information and said that she didn't think anyone would need to stop by and that they would call back with a quote. They did the next day with a quote that was reasonable so I had them do the work. They bought the appropriate alarms, came on time and completed the job in a very professional manner. John Vespa Electrical will be my go-to company for any future electrical work.

Punctual, professional. The final bill could have been smaller had I known I was being billed for time spent chatting with the 2 electricians about their training, working in the family business, etc. It was a lovely talk, but the extra 15-20 minutes got charged to me, turning a one hour job into a 2 hour job.

A motion light fixture that was installed last Sept. failed. I called John Vespa who had installed it and he came out the next day and replaced the defective fixture,.there was no charge. He stands behind his work and makes sure the customer is satisfied.

John replied promptly and was very professional in advising us on safety (dangerous issues with prior improper heater installations) and replacing the new unit. We'll use him again to replace the other baseboard heaters in the house.

I called and John Vespa came and looked at the job,sent me a quote and then we set a date to do the work. Two of his sons arrived(both master electricians) came and did the work. They were very professional and knowledgeable,had no problems and left the job spotless. I could not have more please with the job. Also they were a pleasure to work with. Price included cost of the fixtures and installation.

Very well. John diagnosed the issue as not with the circuit breaker, but with leakage of water down the conduit to the breaker box. He pointed out the rust that had formed inside the box, and suggested (without pressure) that the box and the conduit outside would need to be replaced.
