They're very helpful and very knowledgeable. Their prices reflect a small lumberyard with unlimited service area. They do what they do well. I'm a small buyer. I walk in and get what I need. I walk out and never get problems.

We called East Dedham Lock to change the locks after we had work done on our house, since several contractors had had access to the keys. They came right out and changed all the locks so they all used the same key. They also removed and replaced with new, a knob on one door where the locks were redundant. They responded right away to our call, came to the house very shortly thereafter and performed the work in a very professional manner. These guys are great.

East Dedham was quick, conveniently located, and has been in business for years. They did a good job with the rekeying as well.

They have better quality materials than I can get at big-box stores. I would recommend going for the quality. You can also find quirky stuff you might not find at other stores. They aren't always the cheapest, but they have the stuff you need.
