Enda Cox was the General Contractor for a large bathroom renovation project in my condo. I have been extremely pleased with the quality of his work, the professionalism of Enda and his sub contractors, and the ease of communication about design and construction plans. He worked on three full bathrooms which were almost completely gutted. The project involved design, the ordering of materials, demolition and sheet rock, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, tile, vanity tops, and wallpaper. One of Enda’s skills is scheduling the work, and the workers, in a way that involves the least amount of inconvenience for the homeowner. I live in a downtown high rise condo building with limited parking. The freight elevator and loading dock must be scheduled. There are policies on when work can be done, when water can be turned off, when hallways must be cleaned, and when the work will be noisy. Enda managed the restrictions well and the building management appreciated his respect for the policies. They now recommend him to other home owners. Enda deals with setbacks in a professional and effective way. There were some delivery delays and unforeseen problems, but everything was resolved in a timely way and Enda was always polite but firm when dealing with unexpected problems. I have been very pleased with the results. Enda Cox has very high standards and expects excellent work from his sub contractors. I would definitely recommend him for home or apartment renovations.

I live in an old hotel and there are a great number of quirks behind the walls and above the ceilings. I wanted to remodel my old kitchen b/c the cabinets were oak and were starting to come apart. I worked with Enda and his team at E Cox Construction and am astounded at what an amazing job they did. We started ordering cabinets and appliances in early 2021 and scheduled a time to start the demo after they planned to arrive. The design, the work, the lights, the floors, the tile...it's so gorgeous. I've had friends and family tell me it should be in Architect Digest because it is so lovely. More important than the aesthetic is the way Enda and his team worked with me. It wasn't a struggle. It was A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH ENDA AND HIS TEAM. They are lovely people and just want you to be happy with the results and I am! I would refer Enda to any of you considering remodeling. You'll be happy you worked with Enda!

We got estimates from several contractors. After evaluating all we decided to go with Enda though he was not the least expensive. It turned out to be the best decision we made. Enda is a consummate professional who is extremely responsive, always available, very organized and meticulous and communicates clearly. He is patient and always willing to adapt to the needs of the project as it changes. We have worked with him since January of 2021 and we changed the scope of our project quite significantly from what it was when we started. Enda accommodated all of it very patiently and at each step clearly communicating what was included what was extra. Many things he just threw in. Enda is always accessible and I have always been able to reach him on the phone. The couple times he was not able to pick up he called me back in 15-30 mins as he was in another meeting. While doing our current project, he and his subs did an excellent job. We brought down and completely redid our Kitchen (Cabinets, counters, appliance and changed the layout), changed all our wood flooring, painted our entire condo, redid all our closets, changed all our door hardware, redid all the fixtures in our bathrooms, replaced our toilets to Toto, partially redid our showers, redid all our electrical switches and outlets, added extra lighting, etc. It was major remodel of our Condo in Boston. To give one example of Enda's professionalism, we were not totally satisfied with the first painter. Enda, gave us a refund and hired the painter we recommended and got him to do an excellent job. Now we love how it came out. We have done 2 other major projects for our previous house. I have never met a contractor that is this professional. This includes the GC we hired to build our that custom designed house. He has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We will hire him for all our projects moving forward. For anybody looking to do projects my wife and I would recommend Enda with my highest level of recommendation without any reservation. He is really that good!

Fantastic, finished ahead of schedule! I would hire Enda for all my construction needs, he is professional and keeps the worksite neat. Shows up when he says he will or he’ll call and let you know what’s going on, this is very important to me!

Very well. Enda spent time talking through options with us and the work was completed in a timely manner. We decided to repair the lower deck rather than rebuild it based on his advice. Enda delivered materials in advance of constructions so that we could stain the new balcony materials before installation. Easy and pleasant to work with. [p.s. We recently hired him again to repair some rotting window and door frames. The job was taken care of quickly. They have left the job site tidy both times.]

We hired Enda Cox to build a new 12X17 deck with stairs in the back of our house and are thrilled with the quality and service Enda provided. I would highly recommend him for any project and use him again. Enda responded to our inquiry on the project and came out shortly after we spoke as promised. He made some great recommendations on materials, railings, size, and how to position the stairs. Everything went as planned. Enda communicated throughout the whole process making certain we were aware of the progress and expectations. The job started and finished as planned. The crew that worked with Enda on the project were also terrific. They were professional, courteous, punctual, and willing to answer any question we might have. They were knowledgeable and hard working through the heat wave! Overall very satisfied and highly recommend Enda Cox.

Great company to deal with

They showed up as scheduled, did great work, completed the work in a timely way and left the site clean. We discovered a couple of unexpected things during the work, and the additional work was reasonably priced and did not affect the work schedule.

We have the nicest porches on our street now. E. Cox Construction did a fantastic job replacing the front and back porches. Enda was responsive from the beginning of the project to the very end. He always checked with me if he had any questions before proceeding with the work. He and his crew paid attention to all the small details necessary on the job and did a great clean up when the job was done. Beautiful job ! Highly recommend E. Cox Construction.

We used Enda Construction for a couple of different jobs on our house and couldn't be happier with the end result! The work done was excellent and Enda is very detail oriented. Was very punctual and cleaned up after each day's work. Would use Enda Construction for any future work and would highly recommend.

Some discussion before doing the job was needed because the number of rafters to be repaired was somewhat arbitrary. Enda was quite flexible and adjusted his estimate with no problem. He asked for a 50% payment before starting the job. I had not expected this but agreed nevertheless and am very happy that I did. Enda arrived promptly at the agreed time. He did the work himself, together with a helper. Both he and his helper were always polite, respectful and clean. They finished the job in just a few days, faster than anticipated. This was difficult work in the attic which quickly gets hot, with little space and little light. They made special efforts to minimize noise disruption. They minimized hammering in order to avoid the potential for damage to ceiling paster underneath. The quality of the work was outstanding, and was praised by the engineer who reviewed the finished project. I am extremely satisfied.

Enda's service went about and beyond what we expected. He made what can be a rather daunting task, home improvement, smooth and stress free. He coordinated with all other services needed to ensure everything was done in a timely fashion. He kept us well informed about order delivery dates and project completion timelines. After hearing about other people's experiences with  kitchen refinishing projects, I was expecting not to have a fully working kitchen for months, but Enda had ours back up and running in only a couple weeks! He even hung pictures and wall decor all throughout the house, something I was nervous to do after having all the walls freshly painted. We plan to have several more projects done including the expansion of the back deck, which Enda is currently working on, and building of a farmer's porch at the front of the house. We could not be happier with Enda's quality of work and diligent service. We will never use another carpenter again if we can help it! 

Excellent. Enda completed a number of custom carpentry jobs for me recently. The work included a bench / coat rack, entertainment built-in, paneling, and kitchen cabinetry. Enda was very easy to work with to schedule the work. The quality was excellent and disruption was minimal. I'd recommend him for any custom carpentry needs you have.

Great. Enda was recommended to me by my kitchen designer. His price was very fair and the quality of his work was excellent. He performed the work when requested and was always incredibly polite and professional. My neighbors even remarked on how pleasant Enda and his employees were. I recommend Enda without reservation.

I can't speak highly enough of the job that Enda did. In a field where it is hard to find dependable people, Enda was always responsive and on top of the work being done. He wasn't at the site everyday, but he was well informed and would always come by if there was anything that required discussion. He provided honest estimates and opinions, and I was grateful to have his input. The work was of good quality and done reasonably quickly given the condition of my old house. I highly recommend Enda without hesitation - he will be a valuable asset to your project.

It went very well. Enda and his two assistants were very professional, did fine work. They showed up on time, worked hard, were friendly and accommodating, and got the job done in just one day instead of the expected two. This was quality workmanship, not rough carpentry. He could improve a little in communication about schedule before the work is done, but that was very minor.

Enda was very responsive and was on top of things throughout the whole project. He handled all the planning and communication with the town very well. His workers very punctual and cleaned up. We are very happy with the quality of the work and the end result.

The job was done even better than expected. We were concerned that the back of our house would not look as good with the overhang gone and new shingles. However, it actually looks better! In fact, where Enda and the crew did their work is probably the best looking part of the outside of our house now. They clearly made decisions based on what would look best and make for a high quality job, not what was easiest or fastest.  They were friendly and courteous.  Enda even came by a day later to take another look and make sure it was perfect.

Excellent quality work. The deck re-surfacing was completed in one day. Paining was done in one day on a different day. The work crew would come on the date that was given by the contractor - no delays were experienced.

I have used Enda for 2 home projects in the past and he is my go to person. His work is excellent! He is professional, friendly and has a great sense of design. Always returns phone calls, will call if he has any questions about your expectations. The work was done in  a timely manner. The work area was always left clean. Items that had to be removed (shelving,etc.) were put back when the work was done. I would recommend him without any hesitation. I will definitely hire again for any home improvements.
