They're very responsive and very caring about my pets. One of the thing I like is that they follow-up by phone to make sure your pet is in good health. They're friendly.

Took my cat to Dedham Veterinary for his rabies shot which was required at the cattery where he stays when we go away for a week.   As it turned out, I had noted the wrong date on my calendar, but Dedham Veterinary  was great --- they found the time to take him in, give him his shot ....... and perform his annual exam which was already scheduled for a couple of weeks away!!

My cat has been a patient at Dedham Veterinary Associates since I moved to Dedham 2 years ago.  He had dental surgery performed by Dr. Mason, who is very gentle and kind.  She called my home to check on my cat's post-surgical condition, and I also stayed in touch with the technicians with questions.  I have been impressed with the care DVA provides and the caring and professionalism of their veterinarians, technicians and staff.
Though their costs may be a bit higher than other veterinarians, I feel their services are well worth the extra expense.  I recommend Dedham Veterinary Associates without hesitation.

My dog's ears, eyes and skin responded well to the medication and treatment. Dr. John D'Esopo was very caring and thorough, explaining my dog's illnesses and treatment plan, and providing me with a resonable expectation that my dog would continue to get better. Office staff was kind and couteous.

I think they are expensive but they are very good and friendly. We will continue to use their services for our cat in the future.

I was saving money to have the complete senior check up done for my cat. They said that first they had to do the physical exam before they could do anything else. The vet performed the physical and gave my cat de worming pill without asking and also frontline flea. While these are useful things to give your cat, it would of been nice to been asked before the service was performed. Additionally I can't comprehend how this added up to $225.00.

As an overview, I feel like they are very judgemental of the pet owners. They are not flexible about any payment schedule. They are incredibly expensive. Overall I feel like they are more interested in turning a profit, rather than helping out an animal in need. Of course they are a business, but they are overly interested in making money. I don't feel any compassion or interest from the vet when I visit. Bad experience all in all.

I moved recently to the area and 2 veterinarians refused to take me in, but, Dedham Veterinary Associates took me in the same day. They were very pleasant and did a good pet job. My cat got sick again and I took him there again. He was quite old and I knew he could not make it any longer. They then asked me to bring him the same noon, to put him to sleep, forever. After everything, they sent me a card, with the picture of a cat, which looked just like mine, signed by the entire staff. I found the gesture to be very sweet and was very impressed, with the way they treated my cat and me. I will continue to take my other cat to them.

This is a small hospital, with none of the problems with financing that I have encountered with other animal hospitals. They will work with you and they understand that it can sometimes be hard to come up with large sums of money up front. They are very professional and answer any questions about the treatments they are giving. They will also go the extra mile. I happened to forget my dog's leash in their office and one of their staff members dropped it off to me at my work, since she lives close by. This was definitely above and beyond and I really appreciated it.

Professional care given with great kindness. After the cat finally had to be put to sleep, both Dr. Fox and Dr. Mason wrote personal sympathy notes to me that really helped me with my loss.

DVA are our regular vets for both our dogs. They have a state of the art facility and a great staff; from the vets to the assistants, everyone is pleasant and compassionate. We have been very happy with all our routine care as well as emergency visits, surgery and the care one of our dogs needed over several months for a chronic condition (which their treatment plans cured). They have late weekday and Saturday hours, which works great for our busy schedules.
