The guys arrived on time, with a big machine and a pleasant and professional manner. They diligently completed the work with no issues nor surprises. They knew what they were doing and it exceeded my expectations. I would definitely hire them again... I just wish I had another project for them. I'm sure something will pop up.

I've gotten firewood delivered from DeAvila's a couple of times over the last few years, and I think this may be the last time. But who knows; I've had worse experiences when I went elsewhere.
Pros: Fair priced, free delivery, reliable, usually gives you even more than you ordered, and he's the only one I know in the area who cuts the logs to be 12"-14" -- so they'll fit in our smaller wood stove.
Cons: The wood is always super dirty -- you end up with tons of dirt and bark bits all over the place -- and, the past two times, it's been really wet/new wood, not seasoned enough or even maybe at all. This year I can barely get a fire going with it. It'll be fine by next year but that's not really what I was paying for.

It is a smaller company with the owner and one assistant. He offers good pricing. He is very straightforward and could tell me right away when he complete the job. This was my first experience with him as I was quite pleased with the services.

MR DEAVILA UNDERBIDDED THE JOB AND BASICALLY ABANDONED US A QUARTER OF THE WAY THROUGH, LEAVING OUR PROPERTY IN SHAMBLES. WE HAD TO FILE A CLAIM AGAINST HIS INSURANCE WHICH DIDN'T BEGIN TO COVER THE DAMAGES.
