I contacted CJ Murphy plumbing by e-mail on a Saturday and he called us back on Sunday. We scheduled the work for Wednesday and CJ called ahead of time to say he would be a little late, which was appreciated. The work was done efficiently and kitchen left clean. I would definitely use him again and would recommend this company.

We had recently hired a contractor to remodel our bathroom.  It was a nightmare leaving us with a somewhat functioning bathroom with fixtures incorrectly and incompletely installed.  The pedestal sink was installed too far to the left with incorrect plumbing and the shower valve was not correctly installed.  We joined Angie's list immediately following this experience and found Charlie's reviews. Charlie was responsive from the start, kind, and willing to stop by and take a look at it the next day.  He came to do the work three days later. He called to let me know when to expect him, was there when he said he would be, and finished in the time he had estimated (a 4.5 hour job). I appreciated this a great deal since I am a stay-at-home mom and many plumbers/contractors etc. seem to think that stay-at-home moms stay home all the time (thus the name!) and can come whenever they feel like it.  He worked neatly and explained everything that he did.  He worked quietly and did not yap on his phone at all.  His attention was on the job.  He stuck to his original quote and gave us a great recommendation for someone he works with that could come and fill the hole from opening up the wall.  We now have a bathroom that works and looks great.  

every job was thoroughly looked over by him and he talked me thru what needed to be done. Gives price cost first, and stuck to that price 10 out of 11 times. That one time, unseen  complications reared their head in mid repair. he's an honest, hard working, high quality, trust worthy (left the key for him when we were not there), his own standards are high and he is proud of his work. Prices very reasonable, lower than other plumbers I used befor Charlie.  Responsive to calls and gets here within in a couple days... unless I have needed it yesterday, and then he fits me in earlier. He's a great guy, very personable, family man. Cleans up after himself. I really have no negative things to say about him. I highly recommend him. He's a name for your rolidex for sure.

I have relied on Charlie for plumbing issues for many years.  He is professional, friendly, and does excellent work at reasonable rates.  He has helped me in emergency situations and planned situations.  This time, I asked him to help with the hot water heater;  I was attached to a specific brand, and he made sure that I got that brand with a very good warranty.  I can't say enough good things about Charlie -- as a plumber and as a person.  Quality all the way.

Charlie has been helping us with plumbing around our house for the past few years. Over the years we have been continuously impressed by Charlie's work.  He is very fast to respond to our phone calls and frequently offers same day appointments.  Charlie gives us accurate quotations for the work that he does and offers very reasonable prices.  He is a skilled plumber and takes pride in the work that he does.  Charlie has helped us with a variety of plumbing issues ranging from installing a new kitchen sink, to installing new toilets, to fixing clogged drains and pipes.  Charlie is a genuinely nice person and skilled plumber who offers reasonable prices for work that is done within budget and in a timely manner.  I  highly recommend hiring him for your household plumbing needs - you will not regret it!

Charlie is always on time, reasonably priced, friendly, and professional. He does excellent work.
