BC Plumbing & Heating

I was pleasantly surprised by BC. They responded very promptly to my request of intervention. It was not a super-urgent, since the inspection was for an outdoor pipe, nevertheless the visit happened after two business day after the call. Taki showed up as planned, did a very professional job and gave me advice on how to put the whole system back in place. The price I paid for the inspection was quite reasonable. I would definitely call them again.

These guys are top notch in every way. Brian is a great communicator and is very organized. The guys on the job were all very professional and courteous. They were even great with keeping the mess to a minimum (covering floors, and parts etc to be used weren't all over the place but very well organized and well played). They did a great job with clean up and breakdown each day and the work itself is all so top notch. Everything is thought out and the entire team including the electrician they brought in were all the best of the best. They were focused and moved right along. Great price for the work. Plumbing crews that are this good are hard to find. Glad we did! Highly Recommend!!

Very well. More than pleased with the service and craftsmanship.

I am very pleased with the installation of my new Rinnai e110nc combi boiler.  The price was good and Brian was able to fit my install in quickly before I moved into my new home which has 1900 ft^s of living space.  

Before I received an estimate, Brian ordered an analysis of the house's heating requirements (J load), and noted the number of feet of existing radiators before he recommended the size of the new boiler.  After interviewing and getting estimates from other plumbers/heating companies, I choose Brian's company.  

The boiler was delivered to my new home a few days before the installation. Then a team of 4 guys removed and installed everything in one day.  At the end of the week, the town inspector came to look at the installation and it passed without issue. The inspector made a side comment that I was smart to hire such great guys.

Brian is licensed gas fitter and plumber in MA.  (See http://license.reg.state.ma.us/public/licque.asp?color=red&Board=PL) He is also an official authorized Rinnai dealer and installer.  (See http://www.rinnai.us/find-Dealer)  When installing a high tech & efficiency boiler like a Rinnai, I think it is important to hire a contractor who has been trained and certified on their product.  If you research problems other people who have installed combi-units such as a Rinnai, you will find most problems are a result of incorrect installation. I am glad I hired an authorized Rinnai dealer who has lots of current experienced with installing the boiler I chose, and also received training from Rinnai.  

Other plumbing and heating specialists that provided me estimates for replacing my boiler and hot water heater gave me estimates in the $12K-14K range.  And although many had experience installing Rinnai and other high efficiency condensing boilers, none were officially trained by Rinnai.

I will know for sure after a few years of life - but so far I am happy with my new boiler and its installation.  The hot water is good and the house has been warm.  (This last week of March since the install has been unseasonably cold.  It has been about 14 to 20 F out.)  The end result looks like a piece of art in my mechanical/utility room.  The foot print is much smaller than the old boiler and hot water heater.

Brian also did some other minor plumbing work for me such as replacing shut off valves that were corroded, redoing a p-trap, and removing an old copper dishwasher line.  This was a separate project/invoice.  I am happy with this work too.
