My AC unit stopped working at 8:30 at night during a heat wave I called and left a message explaining my situation , I have a medically involved child that requires around the clock care and has respiration issues. Peter called me back that evening and said he would figure out a way to get someone there in the morning. He personally came over in the morning, Identified the problem, a bad capacitor and had the system functioning in no time. I cant remember the last time I received exceptional service like this, I will be a tech air customer for a very long time!!!

The service was nice and everything but then he told me that it was going to be $140 just for changing a battery. I told them there is no way I'm singing the receipt. He told me there was nothing he could do about it because he did not own the company.

|Local Service Tech was on side within 15 minutes and had spent a max of 15 min to replace a couple of batteries of the thermostat unit. He charged a total of $142.00 ($140 service fee and $2 for the batteries). First, he would not accept a credit payment; second we tried to contact the owner of the company to discuss this outrages charge, which was rudely denied by the lady on the phone. As we tried to resolve the dispute she ended up hanging up on us. Days later we received a certified letter from them to pay our dues. The issue remains unresolved due to the unprofessionalism of the company. This is very sad as we try to support local companies. Very disappointing experience and would never recommend this company to some else, neither would I ever call them ever again. |

This provider was excellent. I called another local competitor first (slightly more highly rated on Angie's list) but felt that their price schedule was high. So then I tried Tech Air. Not only were they less expensive, they squeezed me into their schedule that day (no waiting 4 days like the other place). The tech was fantastic - called me to let me know he was running 10 min late due to traffic. Fixed the problem quickly for the rate I was quoted on the phone. He also did a little extra work while he was here (cleaned a filter and extra tubing) free of charge. Also talked through some other thoughts about the system and was able to answer all the questions I had (the house is new to us, so I'm just getting to know the systems). Overall, would highly recommend based on my experiences, and I'll plan to use them in the future for dehumidifier service and A/C.

They have done a lot of work for us, and they have been good. The charge is reasonable. They are reliable, reasonable, and they know what they are doing.

He was very polite and knowledgeable. We were very pleased with the service. They came out very fast too which was very impressive. They fixed it right the first time!

They were terrific.  Our heating hasn’t worked well for years and now it works terrific.  They were very professional.  They know what they are doing and they won’t do any hocus pocus with you.  Their technicians are very professional.

The technician arrived on time ( that alone is impressive these days) and performed his check of the furnaces efficiently.

My air handler started making a loud noise and I called an HVAC company that was A rated an a top company in my area (company 1).  They were lovely came out the next day and told me I needed to replace both the outside unit (American Standard 3.5 ton only 8 years old) and the air handler as they no longer use the R22  propellant.  Cost between $5000 plus to $6000 plus depending on the brand.   They charged $95 to come out.  I told them I needed to check other companies and they are to call me back.  I looked again on Angies list and found another A rated company, called them, they too were great and came right the same day.  In the mean time I talked to a client, told her my problem and she gave me the name of the company that they used to put in their central air and that she was pleased. The company is Tech Air Systems.   Company 2 the also A rated company came out.  also lovely, told me I DID NOT need to replace the outside American Standard unit, but did need to replace the air handler cost between $2000 - $3000.  I spoke with Tech Air  (company 3)  Mike came out same day, and what a G-d Sent he was.  He was able to repair the air handler.  Also replaced the filters and cleaned out the air handler box, all for a very reasonable rate, not to mention having the system up and running immediately without having to wait for a new system, being with out, and especially with out the major expense and nothing to add to a land fill somewhere.  I am glad I did not look at Angies list to see Tech Air as they had an F rating.  I might not have called them and Had I not I would have spent $$$$$.  I hope my experience is a guide to others that sometimes people only put in when they have a bad experience.  My other air condition system is old (I have 2 systems - one 3 ton and one 3.5 ton), and at some point (hopefully a long way off) I may have to replace the older system, and I will call Mike again as I felt he was a very honest Guy who could have said what the other companies said, but instead looked at the problem and solved it.  My Heart (and wallet) Felt Thanks!!!

They worked in the attic to repair an air conditioning unit and crashed trough my foyer ceiling.

Tech is a good company. I have found them to be dependable and honest. They know the systems in our house. They are always rather punctual about when they show up to do the work. I would feel good about telling others they live up to their good reputation in my area.
